My current version of Firefox is 149.0 (64 bit) Mozilla Firefox for Arch Linux Arch Linux - 1.0 I am running this on two computers, a laptop and a desktop, both running Arch Linux, currently at 6.19.10. I use the laptop much more, and recently noticed that I cannot upload or download files with Firefox. No file selection window opens and the request is simply ignored. Nothing appears in my Downloads folder. Meanwhile, I also noticed that this function works just fine on the desktop computer. I don't remember making any settings changes. I do have popups generally disabled but can enable them for certain sites. In any case, I have tried enabling popups and redirects completely with no change. I figure there must be something different about the settings on these two Firefox installations, but what? What can you tell me? Or ask me? Thanks.

Firefox fails to download any files. I've asked for help before, but did not receive a response. Files download well when using MS Edge. Using Windows 10 and latest version of Firefox. Help please.

Hi! I've recently found an issue with VirtualBox Extension Pack download in Firefox. Instead of downloading the file, it just shows me a web page with a lot of gibberish, like its trying to display the content of the file itself. I'm using Windows 11 and no extensions in Firefox. The only way i have for the moment to download that file is through Edge. Can you tell me why this happens? We run the www.rarlab.com website and several users have complained that the download of the exe file for the English version of WinRAR 7.20 downloads a 0mb file and is also flagged as malicious. The file can be downloaded easily on the Edge browser and it is considered safe by Google too.

Trying to download 3.3 GB file. Around 500-600 MB download then fails and displays either, "pause" (permanent) or "failed - cachefly.net". Have tried several times over several days w/o success.
