I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Dear all,

I cannot install any add-on as Firefox, provides me (instead "+ Add to Firefox") a button:

"Only with Firefox - Get Firefox Now" (see attached image).

I have Firefox version 80.0.1 (64-bit) installed.

Any idea how to get this sorted out? Would de- and re-installation of Firefox work?

Firefox recently updated automatically and when i went into the browser all my bookmarks are gone. i have tried restoring them from the most recent back up and they still don't load. i searched the blogs and go thru the troubleshooting options with no luck. this is very frustrating as i had tons of sites i don't visit often saved in the bookmarks which are not gone.

any assistance or guidance on how to get these back is appreciated.

I need to update Firefox on my Laptop but when I updated Firefox on my PC I lost all my Bookmarks and I can't afford to do that. it should be in the program tat when you update the bookmarks are automatically moved into new version

I need to update Firefox on my Laptop but when I updated it on my PC I lost all my Bookmarks and I can't do that. I am using Windows 10. It should be built in the programs that when you update your Bookmarks are automatically moved.

Can I pull up my bookmarks saved on my laptop on other devices that has Mozilla. I updated my Browser on my PC and when I did I lost all my bookmarks. I have not updated the Browser on my laptop and I am beginning to have connection problems and I CANNOT lose my bookmarks.

I have three devices, a desk top, a laptop and an iPad. The desktop is running a very outdated version of Firefox which means it is not compatable just to update it. The forum tried to help me with this a while back, but it was deemed not to be possible, and the best way would have been to do a fresh new install, but there was noway to save log-ins/passwords bookmarks. My devices all have the Firefox sync and that is so far working well. My question is, if I dragged my PC's Firefox into the present by performing a fresh new install, would my synced items install ok....after invoking the Sync feature on the new install. Logic tells me this should be so, as it worked ok with the new iPad, but I know from experience that logic doesn't always come into play. (Windows7) Many thanks

Hi, Apart from some references I had found going back up to 10 years, I cant find anything about making Firefox run completely from a usb stick.. I have used an appimage to install it on a usb, BUT it still creates a folder with the profile in the Home directory on the PC hard drive.. Can you please give me some idea of how I can move the folder location from the hard drive and have everything pointed to the usb.. I have used the profile manager to create a new profile based on the USB, and then deleted the Mozilla folder on the PC hard drive, but that breaks FF. So obviously even though it is residing and running from the usb, it is referring to the hard drive for something.. Running Ubuntu 20.04 David B

I was having trouble with Firefox not loading pages. I upgraded from v57.0b9 to the latest one (out of desperation), which didn't help. I've now reinstalled v57.0b9 but can't sign in in order to sync. Any ideas?
