I keep getting this message did not connect:potential security issue. I went to my credit union and they find no problem with their website and I am able access my account on their computer. This just came up Friday

I am trying to log in to the Tesco retail site, and get this message: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tesco.com/account/login/en-GB?" on this server. Reference #18.26cc19b8.1700734342.438f9dd8 This is a new problem - it was working fine a week ago, and I have made no intentional changes to the Firefox settings. I went to the Settings: Enhanced Tracking Protection, changed it to Standard, and added the Tesco site as an exception (this was following the advice on some other "Access Denied" posts) but it made no difference - I still can't log in. Everything works fine on Chrome, but I would prefer to keep using Firefox if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks

Firefox crashed hard on me.

When I got it back it, all the add-on's were disabled, my bookmarks were missing, and my preferences destroyed.

So I need to delete Google as my default search engine and restore Yahoo as my preferred engine.

The button to add new search engine is missing.

Without using an add-on, how am I supposed to restore my search engine?

WELL AS I HAVE ASKED THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE - IT WOULD SEEM THAT MOZILLA/FIREFOX HAS NO INTEREST IN IT'S CUSTOMERS AND I MIGHT AS WELL GO BACK TO USING FAXES/EMAILS/HAND WRITTEN NOTES BY POST

I have tried all the suggestion in the FAQ section. I must not be understanding. I normally use Edge and it easily store my information so I don't have to input it every time. However, Firefox does not store it at all. The FAQ say after you type your password you get a save or not save message. I do not get it. No where does it allow me to store anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox to make sure I have the latest. But same results. Any suggestion on what or how to store my data. I do not see the screens the FAQ shows. How can I save my data. I want to get rid of edge.

I thought that in Private browsing mode, using Tools > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data > Clear > Clear Now cleaned out everything in mid-session. It turns out that's not true, for example, using Firefox View I found that the list of Recently closed tabs in three-bar menu > History > Recently closed tabs was NOT cleared. The only way to see that was with Firefox View, which you could then use to delete items from the list.

With the new version of Firefox (119.0) Firefox View has been removed from Private browsing mode entirely. Thus not only is it impossible to see if the recently closed tabs list has been cleared, but it's impossible to clear the list even if you could see it. That leaves the only way to be (fairly) sure things are cleared out during a Private browsing session is to close the browser entirely, which is an annoying pain.

Why was that feature removed? How can I tell if the recently closed tabs have been cleared without it?

Hi I have been using firefox on linux for a while without updating it. We are artsellers and I used to be able to log in and out of an artplatform without any problems. It's now been a few weeks since logging out is not possible any more on this platform which means that I am constantly logged in which I really do not want. The menu does not work anymore on this side whereas it works with other browers. I already contacted the platform. They cannot do anything about it themselves and asked me to contact your team. I fill out a specific online form on a regular basis. When I used Chrome several months ago it always remembered my form data. But no matter what setting I set I cannot get this to work on Firefox.

Under Privacy & Security I've set History to Use custom settings for history: Remember browsing and download history enabled Remember search and form history enabled Clear history when Firefox closes disabled

I have also checked antivirus, antispyware, firewall, and privacy programs are not interfering. I do have a VPN but only use this when using online banking.

When attempting to update my Mozilla account from my Firefox settings, I was unable to add my secondary email address because of an error message stating that the secondary email account exists...

Repeating this action in case of a bug resulted in being locked out of that particular window.

I have no idea what that error message means, nor how to circumnavigate it. Please help!

I'm an old school draftsman and I have been using Firefox for over 25 years. I have always had good experiences using Firefox, until a few months ago. I can't get my gmail through Firefox anymore. I get CloudFlare security ERRORS so much I've almost quit using Firefox completely. How can I fix these problems and continue using your browser?

I have had TOO Many of these pages happen to keep using Firefox. WHY ?

All of a sudden I can't open a certain website. I opened the website a few days ago with no problem and have been using the site for years. (I checked to see if the site is down but it's not.) I googled how to unblock websites in Firefox and nothing I've tried works. I disabled Trackers for the website and I cleared my Cookies. I added the Firefox uBlock extension a few weeks ago to stop constant website popups (after I tried resetting Firefox) and I turned uBlock off for this certain website but I still can't access the website. I also installed Mozilla VPN last week. I'm using Firefox 122.0.1. What could be the problem?
