Firefox says it is "up to date" with 115.24.0esr, but Vanguard still says my browser is not supported. What do I do? I have already manually downloaded ESR 15 as my macbook is using 10.13.6. This is supposed to be good until August 1, 2025.

Hello:

When I signed into my computer this morning, a pop-up asked me if I wanted Firefox to update. I let it do that, and then a pop-up came up letting choose among some photos and art for a desktop background. It even let me upload a photo of mine. I chose one of yours, now I can't change to any other photo I have on my computer. Please help.

Thank you,

Cynthia M.

Please indulge this silly question. What possible benefit is there for Mozilla continuing to list this page with the very first, oldest Firefox release at the the top, requiring the user, every time they visit, to scroll to the middle of the page to search out the current latest version instead of having the chronological order from latest to oldest instead?

Heads up for custom installs: running tbird and firefox on linux, I install both in my home directory for my own ease of updates and portability. I get releases from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/ in tarball formats which install in 30 seconds. I recently ran into a problem which I've not seen before. recent d/l of firefox-136.0.tar.xz for linux-x86_64. It crashed immediately with err 126. The ff.exe and ff.bin files were for ARM arch. This wasn't easy to locate and I think it was caught but anyone still headscratching may want to see if this is an issue - I had a good 136 on a laptop and overwrote bad install on desktop.

I need to reclaim space on my hard drive so I was looking for apps to remove. I noticed that I have two installs of FIrefox. One is listed as "Mozilla Firefox (x64 en-US) (261MB) (2/7/2026)"; in the description area (when you expand the app panel) it says "135.0"; the "Modify" button is grayed out - all I can do is click "uninstall". The other install is listed as "Mozilla Firefox 72.0.2 (x64 en-US) (188MB) (2/23/2024)"; in its description area is lists the version again "72.0.2"; the "Modify" button for it is also grayed out - I can only uninstall.

How do I tell, from the Firefox that I launch from my taskbar or start menu, which one I'm running and which install I can remove?

I'm on a Windows 10 Lenovo Flex 3 laptop.
