Firefox updated to version 85 yesterday and now I cannot log into social security website, either personal or bso. I get message 'Secure connection failed' 'an error occured during a connection to secure.ssa.gov' 'PR_Connect_Reset_Error'. The page offers no options or details.

is not possible to connect with the most of website for example google or bing.com always is the error message:

Error: Secured connection failed

There was an error connecting to www.google.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

The Web site cannot be viewed because the authenticity of the data received could not be verified.

   Please contact the owner of the website to inform them of this problem.

I am having trouble logging into my bank's website from Firefox. It's worked fine for several years and I have no clue what triggered it all of a sudden. Furthermore, I can log in just fine from various other browsers.

I have Google around on the issue for awhile now, and have troubleshooted several different things based on what I've Googled, such as clearing all site cookies, data, cache, etc. Also I had a pop-up blocker add-on but I removed it and that didn't do anything. Lastly, I tried completely uninstalling Firefox and re-installing it without ANY add-ons, but it still doesn't work.

Details on what happens: I go to the log in page, and I put in my user and password and click to log in, and it does nothing. It just basically refreshes the page, so the page comes back up with blank user and password fields.

Any help/ideas on the matter would be much appreciated. Thanks.

After the January update Mozilla Firefox reloads to many Microsoft websites delayed Access Denied.

There are several hundred browser websites that are opened after reboot with Mozilla Firefox reload.

How did this happen with a reload?

Is this a cache or cookie problem?

What was changed in the January Mozilla Firefox update?

Ccleaner requires that the browser is closed to clear cache and cookies.

If this were done the several hundred webpages would no longer reopen.

How can the Mozilla Firefox browser be modified so that it no longer displays Access Denied without losing the reload option for the hundreds of websites that are currently open?

(The browser typically has the default settings)

The Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers can open these websites without problems. Other end users opening the same websites with Mozilla Firefox did not see Access Denied.

What specifically happened with the January update that may have caused this problem? If it was not the January update what else could have caused this problem? How can the problem be fixed so that the webpages that are currently open can easily be reopened after a reboot with reload? What could have been done to prevent this Access denied problem?

The website https://lbry.tv/ doesn't work anymore on Firefox. It works well on GoogleChrome and Microsoft Edge.

www.youtube.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Firefox recently changed my primary language on ALL WEBSITES from English to French. I've tried to reset default language to English using Options>Language but it doesn't make the change. I've refreshed Firefox. I've removed both French and English as primary language and then chosen English again. Nothing works. Thanks for assistance.

When I try to open some websites for eg:offensive-security it is showing pr_end_of_file_error message . And when I ping it I got Network not reachable. I did all things from flushing caches to reconfiguring network but the problem still persists. Please help ?

Hey everybody. A few weeks ago, my audio stopped working on Google Meet out of the blue. I can still hear everyone, but they can't hear me. Meet works fine in a different browser so it's not my computer/mic. I've cleared my cookies/cache and disabled adblock, which is about where my know how ends. Any help would be much appreciated; I use Meet a lot for a side job and I haven't been able to search my way into a solution. I'm on Mac Catalina with FF 71.

Hello. I am having the same issue as another user, but they flagged their question as solved so I'm making a new one just in case. I can't login properly to YouTube, only in Firefox, even after clearing cache and cookies and disabling add-ons/running safe mode. I can login to my Google account, view my playlists and recommended videos (although the main page with recommendations only shows 5 lines of videos and when scrolling further is not loading). I can't make any edits,

for example add videos to the "Watch Later" playlist, that require a login. That’s all we know." or with other URL, depending on the action taken. What can I do? Thank you.

On some sites i need for my work, i get some pop ups saying, are you sure you want to continue with this action? I accidentaly clicked on never show this message again. Now I cannot do things on these sites anymore because the are you sure pop up doesnt show up anymore. Is there somewhere I can reset this? Couldn't find it in the settings. Thanks in advance.
