Firefox 136.0.1, Linux 6.8.0-55, have set Okular as default pdf application, however Firefox will not open pdf file when downloaded nor will it open the file when selecting Open File from the Download Icon on the toolbar. Only was I can get to file is to select Show in Folder option and open from within Dolphin.

Am I understanding this correctly?

HTML backup (bookmarks) doesn't support tags and annotations, but JSON backup does, and JSON backup doesn't preserve the website favicons, but HTML backup does?  

So, what I can do, is restore my (saved) bookmarks using JSON backup, then restore the HTML backup, this would get my tags and annotations, and the website favicons back? But the downside, I will need to remove duplicates?

Hey, since 2 months firefox started crashing when a video comes to the end. I tried it in troubleshoot mode skipped to min 10:45/10:50 and played. after this 5 sec it just crashed. I noticed it on youtube but tried it on other players and it also happened. Today I also started a video on a other website and it crashed but not when starting youtube videos.

I turned on my PC after a long time, and it seems something about firefox has changed in the way I don't like. The logo to the extreme left of the address bar which shows "This time search with" options on left-click is annoying to the eye. Picture attached below. Is there anyway you can remove/disable that logo with about://config or anything else.

Using latest version of Firefox on linux.

So, my browser is disabled. I can open it, but if I type anything in the adress bar (the home menu with recomendations and the search tab doesn't pop up) it will process the information, but then stop and gives me a blank screen. I send an image of it. For example if I type https://www.google.com the tab will go white and I can't do anything about it. In the apliccation menu, the only thing I can do is to go into troobleshooting mode by clicking the Help tab. Everything else (except for the new tab or window tool) is disabled. I beleive it is coused by the fact I can't open any website and those tabs are links. Please write back.

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! I've changed primary email some time ago and wanted to login using a new device. However, login fails with "Incorrect email case" and response contains my old email under "errors[0].extensions". After that, there is another request doing login with old email, which seem to be successful, however the whole operation fail and page only shows "Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again.". Trying to login directly with an old email leads to "Primary account email required for sign-in" error. Please assist.

Hi, I disabled several options in About:Config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and moved to it automatically. Whatever you do with the current tag, I want it. Please help me. ( I mean, it no longer applies to bookmarks, I want it to apply to bookmarks )

Please enable the ability to use the "Dark Reader" add-on on this site or let us change it in the settings. Horrible experience in light mode. On the added image you can see that the "Dark Reader" add-on is enabled.

firefox changed and firefox nolonger lets me get my email, bank account, fidelity account, credit card account etc -- can you help me go back to my old firefox? thank you or do I need to start using another browser?

Is it possible to add Dictionary.com to the Search bar so words entered there are searched at that site?

Previous versions of FF allowed me to map that site to that field.

Right now it's doing a google search for words.
