Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut information, but the box always goes back to white and empty. I tried a System Restore. That didn't work either. I depend on these shortcuts for my work and bill paying. Please, someone help me! Thanks!

Need to clear all previous activity [history, cache, etc.]. I create websites. Do NOT save history. Option turned off. When I bring up a changed website, I see the previous version or the one before that half the time. Rebooting PC does not clear it. Am tired of playing browser roulette, trying to find a browser which will A. Show the latest version. [which is being displayed on other people's devices] B. Perform the desired action as designed by the product creator [which works on other servers and devices, and even sometimes on my device using another browser] I am not skilled at seeing physically thru other people's eyes, only imaginatively. My partner is 200 miles away in another state. We don't always see the same, even when the display is identical. Am starting to create 2 versions of sites, a .org and a .com and explaining to people WHY. I think the "don't save" does not work. It merely turns off creating an index of the viewed material and leaves the viewed material in cache. And re-displays the initial data eveytime, no matter how many updates. Thank you.

What has happened to typing and viewing the content of the search INSIDE the Google search box? Why this does not work now and the search moves to the address bar where it is tight and one cannot see all content of the search? Why have you done this? How can I bring it back please? I hate is as is now.

Whenever I open Firefox, it opens every tab from my previous session. I don't want this - if I closed the window, it was because I wanted it closed, and I don't need any automated system to re-open everything on the off chance I was wrong. I believe the setting for this is on the General tab, but as you can see in the attached screenshot, it's definitely off, yet the feature won't go away. How do I stop Firefox opening these tabs without permission?

I installed Firefox on a new laptop and synced it. The bookmarks all were transfered. But when I log into some websites they do not recognize the password, even when the passwords are correct and still work on my previous computer/Firefox brow’ for ‘Firefox.

i had to rebuild my laptop computer and set up firefox on it, set up/turned on sync and the browser does NOT match the broswer srttings on the desktop where the sync comes from. bookmarked weblink icons only show up when a new tab is opened and vanish once a website is opened, icons for bookmarked weblinks on the bookmarks bar are generic wireframe globe-like-icons only, the custom firefox colour setup i struggled to create over the course of several weeks does not appear at all, nor does the dark theme. how then do i get this to -really- syc???

In the last few weeks I've had problems uploading videos to sites like Meta's Business Suite using Firefox. So I did a little investigation today with a video on Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers and had no problems uploading using the simple command "Ctrl + O" but it failed on Firefox browser. See pics attached. Whatever improvement you've recently made has totally screwed up my workflow.

Ok well i went to about config and tired off all the accessibility about the quick help bar and now my question is every time i try to go to google search and click on shopping no matter what item i am searching for I get a pop up at the the bottom i of the page every time i hit on shopping that say error update can not be added to this list or some thing like that. it was ok until the last update o of firefox and since i did that but am not sure why. doe not do it in Chrome just frefox. firefox is getting to the point b where i an thing king of leaving it. Managing Firefox bookmarks has become impossible as of 12/1/23. Browser freezes up and then task manager shows multiple instances of FF open.

No help is available anywhere. Community blames the user, mocks the poster, blames PC configuration when nothing was changed. Only offers impossible to understand instructions. Help topics don't help at all.

I have recently (today) installed a device (Mini Wireless USB adapter) on my desktop computer. I am now connected to my ISP modem wirelessly. I have been using Firefox as my browser for many years (ten?) and have not had a problem until today. When I attempt to go to a web site I get a notice that says: "Unable to find the proxy server. Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that can't be found. Check the proxy settings to sure they are correct. Check to make sure your computer has a working network connection. If your computer or network is protected by firewall or proxy make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web."

I am able to get to any web site I choose when using another browser. I am also receiving my emails, and able to send emails. So I know the computer has a working network connection. When I have visited the Mozilla support site (having to use another browser) I see advice that shows opening the Settings page and getting to the Proxy settings. When I open my "Settings" page from the menu on the Firefox home page upper banner I do not see any option to get the Proxy settings. How do I access the Proxy settings page? Or how do I access the Firewall settings? Don't forget, I cannot open any web page from Firefox.

Hi, Mozilla Relay/mask is connected to an old, defunct email address. How do I change that? The verifications are going to the old address that I can no longer access.

Starting on 12/1/23 Firefox browser on Windows PC is Not Responding while loading up bookmarks toolbar. Switching to "Never Show" is only way to load the browser. Trying to open or manage bookmarks freezes up the FF browser again.

I have recentlly built a new pc. I have updated windows, graphcs drivewrs and checked that the ram is good. I have submitedn the crash log: bp-c292b4b1-dbec-41f5-a25f-5823f0231202
