Since the last update, the firefox taskbar icon is showing a strange shopping card icon? How can I remove it? I am not shopping with Firefox, I am using it as my web browser.

I talk to friends on facebook/messenger. Previously my conversations were always on Firefox. But suddenly a couple of months ago I could no longer use my camera and my microphone on Firefox, and had to install a new browser. I have been trying several times to give Firefox permission to use my camera and my microphone, but sofar without success. What do I have to do?

During the last desktop update I lost all of my bookmarks. I’ve tried to sync between my iPhone and desktop but when I finally got paired nothing happened with the sync from my phone to desktop

Since a few days, Firefox started crashing each time I receive a notification.

For example, with this notifications test website: https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html

Each time I click on the "Show" button to display a notification, Firefox becomes completely unresponsive: the content of the window is completely frozen and I can't click on anything. I must close it and restart it to make it work again. When I restart it, a dialog displays:

> Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

In both applications, the notification is never shown: the freeze occurs before.

I tried the following changes but they did not stop the issue from occuring:

- Deactivating hardware acceleration - Troubleshooting mode - Deactivating firefox notifications in Windows - Deactivating `alerts.useSystemBackend` and `alerts.useSystemBackend.windows.notificationserver.enabled` in `about:config`

At the same time, I noticed that Thunderbird (v144.0.1, 64bits) started having the same issue. It haappens each time I receive a new message in the background and a notification should appear. Maybe this is related?

Hi folks -

I've just seen the update that firefox now allows "profiles" for different purposes (e.g. work, fun, etc.) which seems really handy. But I'm trying to wrap my head around how to approach restructuring my current setup. In particular, do these profiles *all* sync with my mozilla account? Or do I need a separate mozilla account for each profile? (if so, that sort of defeats some of the utlity here unless you're sharing the PC).

I can't tell from the support article, doesn't seem to address this, but you do need to login again if you set up a new profile.

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

Several times today I have had messages not sent because of this error message: "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue". I am sending political messages and am concerned that Mozilla is blocking me. I have sent hundreds of similar messages over the years with no problem.

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Since the last Firefox update, normally used web pages load very slowly or time out. When clicking on a bookmark the page loads very slow so I stop the page from loading and hit refresh and it loads almost instantly like it normally used to do. Any fixes available? Thank you, Dan.

Firefox always auto-fills in the wrong phone number. But I can't find a setting that contains my phone number. How do I change my phone number that Firefox auto-fills?

When I want to duplicate a tab, can I configure the 'duplicated' tab so it appears exactly next to the tab I'm duplicating instead of at the end of all the open tabs at the far right end of my browser? If I can't would it be too much of a bother to include that as an option we can configure? Maybe it's ridiculous or I'm using the interface wrong but it's super annoying to have to manually grab the duplicated tab and scoot it back next to the tab you duplicated from. Thanks!

Hello, I have just installed Firefox version 144.0.2 on a new computer. I have access to all of the Firefox files and data on the original computer, but I am not able to run Firefox on that computer. Therefore, I am not able to create an export file from the original installation. Is it possible for me to import all of the original Firefox data into the new installation? When I am watching a YouTube video and switch tabs, sometimes, on return to the YouTube tab, I have no sound. It is not muted. The system sound is fine. This does not always happen. I can switch tabs and still hear the sound. Then switch back and no sound. The video is not paused. I've tried pausing and playing the video, still no sound. Refreshing the tab doesn't help Where do I go to turn the sound back on? Win11, Firefox v144.02 64 bit.
