Certain PDFs only allow page view when opened in Firefox. When opened with other PDF viewing software or browsers (Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome), these PDFs allow continuous scrolling. I don't have this issue for most PDFs.

I've tried fixing the problem by editing the PDF settings in Adobe Acrobat but to no avail. When combining a PDF that works fine with a PDF that doesn't allow continuous scrolling in Firefox, it seems to take on the settings of not allowing continuous scrolling.

I'm running FF on Windows v145.0.1 and navigate to...

...and the animation doesn't work. This is a recent phenomenon. I have another computer in the office I've turned off FF updates (obvious reasons) and the animation works fine. It worked on my computer until recently. I'm so exhausted with FF updates that break things, it's getting as bad as Windows. I've run FF in troubleshoot mode, no good. I've added this primary domain to exceptions to enhanced tracking, no good. Nothing works so I assume it's Firefox (may not be). But v129.0.2 works fine, in this respect (streaming the animation loops of GOES West).

Does anyone know what configuration or setting I can explore to make this work again?  :-(

I opened a profile that I had just used recently to a blank tab bar. I closed it and the sessionstore-backup folder did not have a recent backup, The most recent about a week old.

Just for testing, I tried to restore with one of the upgrade.jsonlz4 file, about 2 weeks old, but it also had no session. I then restored one that was 2 months old. That one had a session

Now, Firefox no longer generates the upgrade.jsonlz4 files

Evil Corp (aka Microsoft) updated my Windows 11 PC from 24H2 to 25H2 and now I cannot access quite a few websites (i.e. Amazon, Bank!, etc.) and some take a long time to load (surprisingly, my Firefox Home page...Google...also takes a while to load) . I searched the internet and found many so called fixes and most are very complicated and many contradict others. A lot of them say to disable DNS and reset network stack (using the command prompt) which I do not know how to do even though I worked in the tech business for 40 yrs (mainly data networking)...I retired 20 yrs ago...so I'm old...so I'm not as savvy with computers as I used to be. I tried changing a few Firefox settings, but nothing worked, so I changed them back to the original settings that worked before the update. If someone could give me detailed (and hopefully simple) instructions to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm am in a bind, so a timely response would be great. The subject says it all. The "tabs from other devices" are a) Shown as a long flat list of links, not in their individual tabs, which is disappointing b) right click does nothing - doesn't open them as advertised

Hi! Was just wondering if there was something preventing me from opening these kinds of pop-ups. Recently, I've been browsing old websites and noticed that links that are supposed to be pop-ups don't pop-up at all. Then, I tried to do the same on my website, and it still didn't work. I've pretty much done every solution I could find under the Sun, but none so far have worked whatsoever. Is this a new feature or is Firefox just being weird again?

Please help ;_; it's been stressing me out real bad for the past few hours!

I opened Firefox (V 145.0.2) on my Windows 11 laptop today and noticed that the starting window was the only one open, while I have had at least five windows open for quite some time. The "History|Recently closed windows" option is greyed out. I have closed and restarted Firefox dozens of times and my windows always came back until today. Is that window/tab history stored somewhere where I could recover it?

Thinking about backups of the browser state, I looked for my profile folder and discovered that it is empty - \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\mozilla is empty except for a file named vpn.moz. I then discovered that my profile seems instead to be stored under \Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Mozilla.Firefox_n80bbvh6b1yt2\LocalCache\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles with the folder name e5di8bjy.default-release I now learned that this location is standard for installation via the Microsoft store - the so-called MSIX version. But it is wrong that the "About"profiles" page shows that my profile is in the AppData\Roaming, not the Packages, location. When I try to open that profile folder, I get a message telling me that it is not available on this computer. It seems like the profile info should be aware of the actual location?

my windows 10 PC was saving my bookmarks perfectly and storing in bookmarks after pressing the "save" star (star turns black) until dec 4 but its no longer putting them in the bookmarks menu anymore even though star turned black? then also after numerous attempts to no avail a "edit" pop up came up and after pressing that it did not even come up with the drop down "save" option just a big nothing. Good Morning, Please how can I add or take out in firefox the icon shortcuts with most visited sites that I use, Also firefox is adding by itself shortcuts to my opening page and I don't want to have more than 6 or 7 or firefox suggestions. Thank you for your help

my email account running windows 10 - used to show emails sent to myself in my inbox. It does in fact show the emails in the sent box but it never show up in the inbox. 7 years it always worked - now - ng, Please help as I use this feature to trouble shoot. Thank you - michael

I use Linux mint and Firefox on all my computers a week ago I started to get errors on the Kroger's website. Today I used my laptop computer which has not been updated for several months and that Firefox works fine with the Kroger's website. Firefox updates has created problems with Kroger's website. How do I tell Firefox creators about this?

Hello. The browser will start fine and run for most of the day. I haven't made any known changes to the PC. At some point the browser will crash for all tabs and all windows. Any attempt to refresh goes to the screen as seen in the attached image. The "Restore This Tab" button does not work. I have to close all Firefox windows. Then the browser will work again.

I'm using an Alien computer. Windows 11. Everything is up to date. Firefox version 145.0.2 (64-bit)

I click on the top right button and choose password button. And I can't see any password I saved before. I have no idea why this things happened. Right now I couldn't see the password that I saved, but I can use the password when the firefox tells me I have saved one. I still need to see the password because I saved some password that I use for other platform on firefox. The screenshot attached below. what should I do now?

I'm sorry to be asking this question again, but my previous thread was locked without my being given an opportunity to respond. The question was this:

I have Bing as my homepage, but on one computer I have a very annoying problem. I click on the settings to turn off 'Show news and interests' and 'Show trending on Bing', but the next time I come back to the homepage these settings have turned themselves back on. What do I have to do to retain these settings?

Denys responded to say it was a feature introduced by an extension. I'm not sure what gave this impression; I'm simply going to the Bing homepage (www.bing.com). I do have extensions installed, but I have turned them all off for this page just in case it was one of these that was causing the issue. If you click on the hamburger menu at the top right of this page you have an option to disable 'Show trending' and 'Show news etc', but as soon as the page is refreshed the news and trending, which appear at the bottom of the page, reappear. It's as if Firefox isn't saving the cookies, and yet it clearly is.

I recently downloaded Firefox and made two profiles on it from the hamburger button in the top right. I make one called "Work Profile" and another called "Personal Profile". I was trying to pin each one to the task bar separately because I would use youtube to watch videos/listen to music on one window and do my work in another. I have enabled the group profiles on taskbar so they dont show up together under the same icon and added { -no-remote -P "Profile Name"} to each shortcut in its properties>target on windows explorer.

It just keeps bringing up the choose user profile window but it doesn't even have the two profiles listed that I want.

When I open default then all my profiles are gone in the top right profiles window but if I choose default-release my profiles are there to select again. I am pretty sure firefox just has two things it calls profiles, one is for multiple installs and the other in in each install and I don't know how to fix it now as all my settings/passwords/add-ons are setup and I would like to not have to do it again.
