Starting today I am finding it extremely hard to login to some websites. All Firefox does is just sit with a spinning circle after entering a user name and it locks up the browser to a point the I have to go to the Task Manager to stop the FireFox process. I have restarted my computer and refreshed FireFox. I have scanned my computer for malware using Norton 360, Malwarebytes, MSERT, and Windows Defender and all negative. I am having no trouble signing in to a site like https://my.account.sony.com using Edge but using FireFox now is impossible. This needs to be fixed.

Is there a way to enable using both a default pattern as well as a custom image for the background on Firefox Color? I really want to enable both but it is making me choose one or the other. Please help me do this or enable the ability to do so.

As you can see, MS Edge has no issue with it, nor does Opera.

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?

As I said: fresh install of FF 119, only Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin icons are showing on the taskbar. I tried TyDraniu tip "Click the jigsaw puzzle icon, then right-click on an extension, then select Pin to toolbar" but with the right click there is no such option as "Pin to toolbar".

With certain pdf files, when I go to a page using the outline feature on the pdf viewer or refresh the tab on the same page, the zoom will automatically be set to "page fit". It seems to happen with the title page and table of contents pages. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

I just wanted to make my bookmarks from my new PC available on my old PC. I signed into sync on the new PC and it's imported a whole of of old links and totally messed up the setup on the machine. Has it merged the bookmarks or imported old saved bookmarks from my account? Is there a way of reversing this. I selected add another device and maybe it found the old computer on which I was logged into my Mozilla account.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. This has been an ongoing issue for sometime with Firefox.

Backstory time. I am a regular shopper on eBay and I get email alerts for things I like to look at and for. Unfortunately, on my Outlook/Hotmail account, in these particular messages, the images don't load properly for some reason. And I would like to know the way to resolve this once and for all. Is there a way to modify the default behavior so that links open automatically in a private window instead of a regular one?

It used to be that when I'd set browser.privatebrowsing.enable-new-indicator to false, that there would not be the text Private browsing next to the private browsing icon on the tab bar. But now, even though I have confirmed that the setting is still on false, the text is back, just where I don't want it.

What is going on, and what step can I take to change it back?

I use Kubuntu 23.04 with Firefox from mozillateam/ppa apt repository, got update to FF 119 today (package 119.0+build1-0ubuntu0.23.04.1~mt1) and after the update Firefox stopped using system-wide installed fonts (either from /usr/share/fonts or from ~/.local/share/fonts).

but when I try to apply the style `font-family: Gentium Plus`, `font-family: Iosevka`, or `font-family: Junicode` to an element, Firefox doesn’t use those fonts and instead in the element inspector I see Noto Serif is being used instead.

Before the update the appropriate system fonts were being chosen for rendering by Firefox.

I have "Open previous windows and tabs" checked in the settings, And have been using firefox in that manner for years, Like I would close the browser without thinking, And coming back to what i was working on. But today for some reason, I came back to all my tabs gone, And I openned multiple tabs and closed, And opened the browser again and there were no more tabs. (I know about ctrl+shift+N, But that is not automatic) Please help I really need this feature, As i don't like closing tabs!

My visited links no longer display in a different color. This started in the past few days, likely caused by the most recent update of Firefox. Going into Color Management and adjusting the settings there had NO effect. This is very frustrating.

Version 120 (PC) continuously crashes and asks me to refresh and nothing happens (including after rebooting) so I had no choice to uninstall. I normally trust your updates but I'm really regretting this one. Can you help me not switch over to chrome? Maybe you're already aware of this bug and will have it fixed soon.

After updating Firefox to 116.0.1 my tabs keep randomly crashing. I get some crash reports *occasionally* - meaning not all crashes produce a crash report - but I'm not sure what to do with them, they seem inconclusive. The last report (not for the last crash, though, which didn't produce any report) is bp-3334b934-58b5-4226-887a-235300231117

When clicking a link to a website, it opens my default browser, which is firefox, but it opens a new window with no add-ons, custom settings, cookies, a blank browser. After the recent update as of 3 November 2023, all my add-ons and settings were completely reset, as well as bookmarks all deleted, so I created a new profile to save all my settings. The new window that gets opened does not have any cookies, so it is not logged into anything. It also cannot combine with my other firefox windows and tabs.

'After last update, the new tab option does not offer either a selection of most visited sites or recent sites despite that both are check on in the settings. How can I turn on that function again?

Hi, I would like to customize the apps that firefox shows me when I click the address bar. In the attached image, you see youtube, google, reddit, wikipedia, twitter. I would like to remove some of these apps. How can I do that?

Also, there are suggested search engines on the bottom, including amazon, bing, ebay. How can I customize the apps which appear in that list? Again, I want to remove some of these apps.

I use a lot of keyword search engines. This means I can type something like `kagi foobar` to search Kagi for `foobar`. However the awesome bar has a "feature" where if you type a question mark (?) anywhere it instead uses the default search engine. This means that `kagi How do I cook a turkey?` searches my default search engine for "kagi How do I cook a turkey?" rather than searching Kagi (based on the `kagi` keyword). Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

I have searched about:config and "Search Shortcuts" in preferences doesn't have a `?`. I never use `?` as a shortcut to search (I just type the keyword for the engine I want) so completely removing it would be perfect.
