I've checked the autoplay settings, refreshed, re-installed with no joy. All OK in google-chrome. Is there a more obscure setting that might affect audio?

I've been using Android/google messages on web (messages.google.com/web) for years with Firefox with no issues. Starting today, the page will show the logo for about 10-20 seconds, then loads a blank page. I've tried unpairing, restarting my computer and phone, and restarting firefox. Was there a new update or something that might explain this? Any other thoughts?

I am unable to log in to my router with Firefox. This is a very recent development. When I go to the router's address, it says Unable to connect. I am on a Mac Studio (OS 15.1), running Firefox 132.0.1. The same thing is happening with Edge, but I can get to the router just fine with Safari and Chrome.
If anyone know why this is happening, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I did make some changes a couple of weeks ago in about:config, but I don't know what settings I changed. I was trying to find out why the computer was constantly accessing my optical drives (I thought it was when a web browser was open, but it turned out to be all of the time). The site usually loads after I wait like 2-3 mins before reloading the site, or I force reload it around 7 times, but I cannot find a way to make the issue go away. I have refreshed Firefox, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it fresh, I have opened Firefox in Troubleshooting mode and the issue persists. I am at the end of my wits. Someone please give me something else to try.

This is a new bug, as of today.
If I click on each thumbnail the image displays just fine, but that is not ideal.
On a reddit forum, someone suggested typing about:config into the search bar but nothing happens when I do that.

Most pages will RANDOMLY not load and show “Security Connection Failed” message, indicating mostly one of this two errors Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG Additionally and consistently trying to access Amazon makes it think I am a Robot, and shows a page with a Captcha but the images do not load (Image attached) 1Password fails in some pages (Such as CNN), the page shows an error message when userid & password are filled in, rendering it useless. NONE of this happen on previous versions of Firefox or on EDGE with the updated Norton360
I have tried: - Uninstalling, deleting all files and re-installing both Firefox and Norton 360 - Deleting the Firefox profile and starting from zero - Using Firefox without any Extension, it works for a while but then fails (memory overlay issue ?) - Loading a few extensions, again works for a while but then fails. If more trhan 4 or 5 extensions are loaded the problem is immediate (memory overlay issue ?) - Turning off Norton sometimes helps get to a page, and when turning it back on keeps working … Sometimes it does not - - Checked all indicaytions on support article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/secure-connection-failed-firefox-did-not-connect without any luck WHAT TO DO ?

Twitch, piracy streaming sites, 9anime all work fine this problem with loading and buffering is exclusive to youtube. I have tried resetting my firefox settings, changing the values for load times and resource usage in about:config and none of these have fixed my youtube.I have tried multiple fixes I've been recommenced by online forms. I have switched my user agent to make youtube think I am using chrome, I have disabled and removed all of my extensions including ublock origin, and loading youtube remains painfully slow. In fact, disabling adblock makes the load times even slower.
Also responding to my post with "hmmm durrr it works just fine for me" does not help anybody, stfu.

- I tried disabling all my addons - Launched FireFox in troubleshoot mode - Deleted everything in DataReporting\Archived folder - Cleaned out History/Cookies and site data/Temporary cached files and pages - Tried both Default and Max protection for DNS over HTTPS - FireFox is allowed in Windows Defender firewall - Tried setting 'browser.cache.disk.enable' to FALSE - Tried changing 'Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows' to 'Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode' - Windows and FireFox are up-to-date

When is Firefox (across devices) going to bring "Tab Groups" in-built in 2025 as it is difficult to ditch Chrome esp., if it is related to work or research and similar tabs are opened up?
I have to rely on chrome and edge for same and both have not only brought it but improved it considerably. Also, chrome has not brought for mobile devices so grouping of tabs is more easy and simple but when I look at Firefox and Firefox based browsers, I see nothing of that thing present. The addon esp., Simple Tab Groups (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/) is unreliable (see reviews).
If Firefox want us to use their browser and as default, they should see why we are using Chrome and Edge (latter, having vertical tabs in-built, also).
I hope 2025 is a year Firefox learns of how to retain users across devices. Currently Firefox is more from 2005.

I have reinstalled Firefox on my Mac many times, completely removed all files using app cleaner, and reset Firefox by holding shift and option on start. Despite this, the app is very slow to launch, and when it does no pages load or render. Opening a new tab freezes the entire app for 15-30 seconds, and when the tab opens it is completely blank. Attempting to browse to a URL does nothing, and the address bar just returns to being empty. Attempting to open settings does nothing, although parts of the app that open separate windows such as the about version info and bookmarks work fine. The only thing I haven't done at this point is completely reinstalling macOS, so maybe there is something wrong with my system config. I first noticed this issue when using the early macOS Sequoia betas, and assumed the app wasn't updated to support it yet. However after updating macOS and completely removing and reinstalling all traces of Firefox, it still doesn't work. I am currently using macOS 15.1 beta, however the issue also persisted on 15.0.

I want to add that I know I am not alone with this problem as I have seen several others with the same problem but with different banks. It is the Billpay option which no longer works.

My Firefox browser is updated to the most recent version. I've previously used ProtonVPN and I've never had any problems. As soon as I updated Firefox, however; there are connectivity issues and pages won't load. I've tested with other web browsers and are able to load pages there while they simultaneously won't load in Firefox. I've tried deleting ProtonVPN and re-installing, but that didn't work either. I reached out to Proton about this and they are looking into it from their end to see if there is a solution, but I'm pretty confident it has something to do with Firefox as other browsers are working as they should be.
