Good afternoon. Tell me how to make sure that when I click on the url bar, a large search window does not open, and all search options are located below the search bar itself

Hello, i want to know if i can use dark mode in the main web sites of mozilla, like support page or account page, becase it hurts my eyes when i want to switch from other sites where i at least can use some extension to fix it but all mozilla pages always bright white. What i have to do? Thanks

In the last few updates, it has screwed up the placement of the macos window control buttons (red, yellow, green) by right justifying them at the top of the window. I have not changed my configuration since updating firefox code. I disabled themes to no effect. How do I move the window buttons to their normal place at the upper left of the window. No other browser or window has this issue, only Firefox (now at 127.0.1). Running MacOS 12.6.3.

None of my extensions would functionally impact this issue and I haven't installed a new extension in years.

Certain websites I use such as for cities, files will not show up in pop up download windows. Where as they will if I'm using chrome. I could not find anything in settings to adjust.

Firefox is the latest version and runs on Windows 10. Sometimes old settings come back, for example older start pages, even if I change it to the default firefox page, at varying intervals the setting reverts to a setting from several years ago. Also, the machine comes from Germany and was installed in German. It should be used in Hungarian, but after changing the language, it forgets the Hungarian language days, weeks, months later. As time changes, the Hungarian language disappears from the installed ones and reverts to German. Also, the German language cannot be removed from the list.

I have a question, is it possible to permanently delete the settings and restore the default settings without having to harm the profile. I can't find the button to reset everything. Although, since changing the settings doesn't usually help for a long time, it probably wouldn't help either.

I think the machine was installed by a German internet service provider with its own settings. The user does not want to reinstall

As part of my job I need to fill in long content into webpages. Many of the words can be long and not so common in everyday language - but are words that I use many times in the report writing I do. Like with MS Word's AutoCorrect... Could there not be an option for custom work shortcuts, such as:

cst automatically becomes: custom prg automatically becomes: Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Crazy or what

All of a sudden, a site I visited appeared at the top of my login pages. Just below the search bar. It contains “import bookmarks,” “getting started,” “and this site.” I don’t want any of that there. I thought I had all memory stuff shut off. Can’t figure out a way to delete it. Can you help.

I use Mozilla Firefox browser on my work laptop, and have it Sync'd to my iphone. Yesterday my sister opened Firefox, logged me out, and logged herself in, to access some things. But instead of closing my profile (bookmarks, saved PWs, etc.) it MERGED hers with mine. Now, on our laptops and phones, we see each others bookmarks, saved PWs, etc. How can I unmerge them? Pls help!

I have browser.messaging-system.whatsNewPanel.enabled set to "false". And yet when I update firefox, there's still a new tab opening telling me useless information.

I don't want firefox to ever automatically open a new tab ever, for anything, ever. I don't care what's new, I don't care what changed, I just don't care. I want to permanently and completely disable firefox from opening a new tab to tell me literally anything.

Please don't try to argue or convince me otherwise. It's such weird and rude behavior. Just please, how do I disable this feature that is annoying to me?

Firefox should never be able to open a new tab on its own. Any tab openings should be done by user action.

For a while now, Firefox has been opening with the sidebar appearing every time. I never wanted this and don't know what causes it to open every time I open Firefox browser now.

What setting is there to stop the sidebar automatically displaying/opening upon Firefox startup?

I work in IT and unfortunately I am working on too many brand new and obscure devices, they have expired and self-signed certs and I can't just keep trusting them, even though thats not working. I need to be able to completely turn off all protections for SSL certs if I can.

I can't remember how but somewhere along the way I got a tip about how to select this context menu search option not to conduct the search with it, but for the search phrase show up in the search field, after which a search could be conducted.

How do I undo this?

My PC uses Windowss 11 and I'm on Mozilla. My security programs are Malwarebytes Premium, Windows Defender.Security, and Acronis. There is an Extension called, 'Protect My Choices'. Love It! I have it on all my Browsers. It keeps alot of junk off from my PC. In all my other Browsers, in the Extension details it states "Automatically allow access on the following sites:" I just don't move the button over to on, and the Extension keeps all that junk off from my PC. In Firefox, the above statment and the botton is absent, and all that junk is allowed onto Firefox (Yikes!). I went through Mozilla's Help, Troubleshotting, and Search. I haven't been able to find any clue as to how I can get this Extension to work in Firefox. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. As you can see from the image, my fonts while using Google have gone completely haywire. The only thing i can possibly associate this with is the fact that I've been installing fonts onto my Mac for use within a new graphics design suite that I purchased. While i have been performing that task, i cannot possibly come up with a reason as to how this has happened. Google does not operate like this on Safari. I typically don't use Safari and I use any Google products as little as possible... my primary browser is Firefox .. i tried to reset the configuration using the info i found to reset Firefox to it's defaults... i even tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox... If the font had changed to something farily legible it wouldn't be so bad, but this horrific looking 'Asian style' font is barely legible.. any help would be greatly appreciated.
