my uBlock is on but ads still play on youtube my stylish doesn't have any of the styles i've installed anymore and every time i try to install a new one firefox freezes firefox color no longer automatically applies my theme (i have to go find the website and select it) and i lost the ability to load outlook.com/owa but thanks to a trick another user here (FredMcD) taught me (Manage data/Forget this site) i was able to regain access to it.

Also I would hope that it goes without saying but any responses suggesting Resets/Nukes will be ignored and reported. Let's try to work together to get this issue sorted out.

I recently had to switch back to my laptop and noticed that firefox is micro-stuttering (missing a couple of frame at worse) at a somewhat regular interval. Which is very noticable and head-ache inducing when watching a youtube video.

I tried to disable every plugins that I have, switching to a new profile, setting browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo and browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo to 0, closing everything in the background, clearing cookies caches and etc.

Nothing worked, I noticed that disabling window's "Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling" helped. With it on I've got a very regular micro stutter (every 10 seconds) whereas with it turned off I "only" get a microstutter once every 20/30 ish seconds. Therefore I suspect some shenanigans with optimus drivers but I don't know for sure how to confirm. I tried to force firefox to use the integrated gpu with nvidia pannel but it didn't help.

I would have capture a video to show off the problem but everytime I start recording (with lenovo's nerve sense capture software) the problem totally disappears !

Anyone have any ideas about what could be happening / how to diagnose more precisely the problem ? Thanks for reading.

specs :Windows 10 (x64), Firefox 78.0.1 (x64), Intel Core i5-7300HQ, optimus GPUS : Intel HD Graphics 630 + NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (Max-Q)

Just updated to the latest version but when I load up Firefox and select a website, it isn't loading the page.

I've tried other browsers and these work.

I've cleared my cache and history and reset my connection and still the same, won't load a page.

Under Privacy and security I check to ask save logins and passwords. When I close FF and reopen the box is cleared and I need to recheck it every single time. Only happens on one computer

Installed Firefox 75 and then 76 on Windows 7 embedded (32 bit) on a thin-client. No errors. When I press the letter "t" on the keyboard it refreshes the page. I have tried this on several input fields on this specific webpage and it has the same outcome. This only happens if I use a lowercase t -- shift-t and T (using caps-lock) does not refresh.

This occurs on a specific page on my internal network. I reproduced this on 3 computers running the same versions of everything. Reinstalled windows and Firefox and same problem.

Another Windows 7 computer running Firefox 56 does not have this symptom so my next step was installing Firefox 56 which worked. I installed each version incrementally until I found where this started - version 64 works fine, version 65 refreshes when I press "t".

I am so confused.

Sorry that I don't know the version when this started, but within the last couple of months I have noticed that keyboard inputs are being processed incorrectly in many places.

The CMail web interface is one example. At the moment, in almost every GMail that I compose, I find "pieces" of things that I type in the wrong place. For example, I'll see a character on the end of a word somewhere in the message and notice that the same character is missing from a word later in the paragraph.

I also use some keyboard macros, and this new behavior has essentially stopped the use of these macros in FF.

One good example is that, for years, I have used a macro to dial voice calls using Google Voice. When google force the change to the new (green) version of Google Voice about six months ago, I had to spend several hours testing timing "delays" to get the macro to work in the new interface.

Those changes worked until the keyboard input problems started sometime in the last couple of months and the dialing macro not only became unusable, editing the timing delays didn't help.

If I fire up Chrome and use the same macro that fails in FF in Chrome, the macro works flawlessly in Chrome.

When I use Zendesk (my company's chosen support ticket solution) it is disabling my ability to right click in any other open tab/window. When I close Zendesk, close Firefox, and reopen all the other tabs/sites besides Zendesk, my right click function is restored.

I have no clue what the Zendesk site is doing that is causing this, but I'm wondering if Firefox has a way for me to disable that for the Zendesk site, while still being able to use it's functionality.

I recently updated from an older version of OS X to 10.15.5. This has happened numerous times and I am trying to figure out if there is something I am doing to cause it. I am on a Mac PowerBook Pro. I can have several Firefox windows open and something I do by moving my "mouse" (the trackpad) from right to left deletes all open windows and resets to my home page, essentially like I have just opened the app. Firefox doesn't quit or anything, it just wipes out all open windows which is very annoying. As it is a trackpad and I am moving my finger across, I am wondering if my thumb is doing something inadvertantly. Is there a "movement" or something that is causing this? Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
