Firefox keeps asking me for my primary password EVERY time I open the browser. It's very annoying. This article did not help me. I don't use the anti-virus softwares mentioned in the article, and I removed my primary password and set it up again and I still get the pop up every time I open Firefox.

Does anybody know what causes this?

Firefox doesn't display blur effect in websites. In the below images Image 1 : apple.com ( Firefox ) Image 2 : apple.com ( Chrome ) Image 3: twitter.com ( Firefox ) Image 4 : twitter.com ( Chrome) It also happens in telegram where right click menu shows blur effect

Certain websites (see attached images) aren't loading banner ads or letting my view a site's gallery properly. This is only happening on Firefox - other browsers work fine. I have tried disabling extensions, Troubleshoot Mode, resetting my preferences, and changing settings that I thought would help, but nothing seems to work.

In the attached images, I have shown what I am seeing on Firefox, compared to what I am seeing on several other browsers.

Yahoo mail push notifications stopped working around 5/25/23. I have Firefox v113.0.1 from the automatic updates. The notifications were coming, now they don't. Firefox still sends notices from other email services, and yahoo notices still work with other browsers.

How to I go back to the previous version of Firefox?

I had 20 tabs open on one screen. I moved one tab off the the 2nd screen so I could see info between two pages at the same time. When I was done, I closed the browser with the 19 tabs so I was left with one tab browser on the 2nd screen. Unfortunately now I lost all 19 tabs because when I click restore Recently Closed Windows (tabs) the only thing that listed is the tab I already have open.

This has been an issue for a LONG time. I have to remember to close the temporary browser tab 1st then close the main browser with all the other tabs open LAST. I HATE that I lose everything if I don't close the split browser in that order.

Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.

I have Ecosia as the default search engine, but lately it won't let me search as it is stuck on a page saying:

This page does not redirect.

This doesn't happen with Brave.

How can I get Firefox to use Ecosia?
