hello good day i know this is asked many times but i've tried a lot of solutions that i can find online but none works so here i am... https://share.firefox.dev/4uKI7Xf im running firefox in a windows 10 virtual machine, 3d accelerated, some websites (even google sheets) that make my firefox use a lot of cpu check/uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available", uninstall, troubleshoot mode... is no different any help is appreciated, thanks

This happened a few years back after a bad update. When I am on forums, Multiple sites) etc, I will be in the middle of typing a sentence and suddenly it scrolls to bottom of page. 100s of times this has happened. I have waited for a month for a corrective update but will have no choice but to permanently leave firefox if not fixed soon.

Ctrl key is shrinking my pages , unable to use any shortcuts due to it. Happened just now after the newest update to 152.1. It happens on every page. Also Login drop-down won't stay open long enough to select anything, it open and immediately closes.

Good morning from the UK. When I loaded my laptop this morning there was a message saying I need another firefox, I get worried quickly and didnt take a screen shot .

I am on windows 10.

I have notice that the laptop is very slow on loading everything.

Please help me and advise...I'm not computer savvy sadly.

Yesterday, after being notified that an upgrade was available, I executed the upgrade to version 152.0.

The upgrade completed successfully with my eight tabs populating on the left side along with a new tab showing all the features of the new upgrade.

I opened my Gmail tab and my Yahoo mail tab. Eventually, Firefox froze up, saying it was Not Responding. I looked at Task Manager and saw that Firefox was continuing to grab up memory. I ended the Firefox process in Task Manager.

I then opened it again and deleted all the tabs except for one. It continued to grab up memory.

I then opened it in Troubleshooting mode. It errored out, and I sent the report to Firefox support.

The only thing that has changed is the fact that I ran the upgrade to Firefox. Nothing else has changed.

Firefox has been my go-to browser for years. I am using Chrome as my access to the internet now, and cringe every time I go into it.

I hope and pray that you can bring my Firefox friend back to me.

~ Kyle P.S. I just tried getting information from about:support. I was able to copy the raw data and then the application crashed. I sent the Crash Report to you folks. The raw data I pasted in the Troubleshooting Information box.

Using a 2023 Macbook Pro with M3 Apple Silicon and MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1.

When I open the Bookmarks manager in Firefox and use it for a while, the main Apple menu for the Firefox app vanishes. It's only the text menu items that vanish. The icons on the right, plus date/time remain visible. Sometimes, the menu is still visible, but not operable. Clicking on any menu item does nothing.

Once the menu has vanished or locked up, it remains in that state for Firefox. If I select a different app, the menu reappears for that app and functions normally. Returning to Firefox returns the vanished or locked state for the menu.

Even stranger, the menu disappeared while I was writing this post.

I have found a workaround. If I select the green circle and then Full Screen, then exit Full Screen, the menu reappears and is working.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there some setting on Firefox that I can change to prevent this behavior?

power up and get previous home page with bookmarks page from prior session. cannot delete page using 'x' upper right. cursor not effective . I have to click on firefox logo to start a new session. Note the old display comes up at each login. Cannot delete I must overlay. Please help. Greg

When I opened Firefox this morning, it downed the newest version.

Since then it becomes nearly impossible to use, locking up after a few minutes.

Are you aware? Is this being fixed? Can I go back one version? I used Windows 10, is that the issue?

I am using macbook pro latest one, and when I use firefox and scroll down from my wireless Mouse to the bottom of the page, the scroll bar jumps to the top while working, is there a fix for this.

i used firefox version 144 or 148 and it frequently become whitescreen "but when i put or move my cursor hover, it becomes reload the page again. but it's annoying error bugs

MacOS, M2 2023, fully up to date firefox.

Sometimes I'm using firefox and it just stops loading pages, internet is fine. Other browsers work. I look at my activity monitor and nearly 100% of my 32GB of ram is being consumed by various firefox processes. A lot of those processes seem to be associated with youtube. This problem usually, but not always, is resolved by restarting firefox. But this shouldn't be happening. I have a lot of tabs open sometimes, but it's not that excessive. And most certainly not 32GB worth and preventing my computer from doing a google search.

If there's a debugging thing I can do to post system logs, let me know and I'll post them next time this happens. I'll be away from my computer until early July, so around that time.

Firefox MAC freezes intermittently , will get spinning beach ball and status shows Firefox (Not Responding) and must force quit FF.

Sometimes FF after fresh down load from the official FF site for MAC will work great for an hour or half a day and then out of now where go into the spinning beach ball , and unable to enter data into any field - completly bricked and FF status shown as Not Responding. Tnis could happen immediately, or after an hour or anytime within a day or two.

No way of deciphering or determining what in the heck triggers it or why - way way too many factors and settings and variables both within the FF registry and the macOS and the activity I may or may not be doing at any given time.

I will say I experienced this when all apps on my MAC were shutdown, no apps up and running, but I do use Backblaze, Mai Backup X, Malwarebytes, Dropbox, MS NTFS Tuxera, DriveDX which all have ongoing background tasks running all the time or at least in the background from time to time.

However, I have used this setup for the last few years with Firefox MAC with absolutely no hiccup whatsoever.

And then immediately after the last FirForx update on Tahoe, just before I applied the latest 16.5.1 Tahoe upgrade is the intermittant freezing with FF started.

Could this be a FF / Tahoe incompatibility issue?

If not, does anyone out there have anything to fix this?

And yes i did a complete uninstall of all of FF hidden Library folders as well as the "firefox.app" itself - if anyone tells me to uninstall all the hidden FF folders and files in ~/Library one more time, then forget it, I am done using FireFox. Been there and done there a number of times the last week, exhausted with that, and doesn't do a thing.

And yes kept deleting and creating new FF profiles and did not fix the issue.

So does some great genius Mozzilla FF Mac SW engineer have any clue as to the real issue and the real fix without sending me on a wild goose chase?
