Сегодня обновил Mozilla FireFox до версии 146.0 (64-разрядный). После обновления в панели "закладки" (cntrl+B) появился ненужный мне цвет выделения только что открытой мною вкладки (смотри скриншот). Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

My firefox will not connect properly with the Bing Home page. It often provides a message "cannot connect" and when I click on that, it does. But yesterday, when I did that, all that came up was a screen with just a solid colour and the search bar on it. I used my Safari browser to access Bing, but I don't like using Safari. I only have one profile, the default one , I clicked something ; Firefox closed and when I opened it again I had to create a profile again , and everything I had, bookmarks history, was lost . How can I recover it , or go back to the first default profile, why is it even possible to exit firefox in any way and not be able to go back where you were.

When accessing important accounts on websites, like financial websites, I've always heard you should close your browser when you're done with the secure website. If you log on in a PRIVATE window and close the private window afterword but leave the main FireFox window open, is that the same thing? I think it is and the private window will delete any login or activity info as if you closed the browser, I just want to confirm with someone more knowledgeable before I make a bad assumption. It also seems to have the added benefit of deleting anything you might download and save elsewhere from the download folder so you don't have to delete it from the DL folder and then the recycle bin. Seems like it's good practice to use the private window this way. Again, just looking for a 2nd opinion.

It is extremely annoying that the shortcut tabs forces me to have shortcuts based on my search history

For example, the fact that I visited a website about how to make pasta does not mean that I want that on my home tab every day, I am not wanting to make pasta every single day and if I were to want to make pasta every single day I would most likely not need the recipe

But everyday I do want to access YouTube, so I do want my shortcuts enable. I won’t add it to my bookmarks since they are for more important purposes (also uncomfortable to reach in comparison to shortcuts which are right in the middle of the screen)

That is to say, it is extremely annoying that with the shortcuts enabled I am forced to either filled up all the possible shortcuts or getting shoved some unecessary shortcut recommendations down my throat

There clearly should be an option to do have shortcuts in the home tab but without recommendations based on your search history

I recovered my account using a backup code and set a new password. Two-step authentication is enabled but I don’t have the linked TOTP app. The settings UI does not allow disabling 2FA and does not offer backup code input. I still have unused 10-character backup recovery codes. Please advise.

I use Firefox app in macos, android and ipados. The bookmarks across them are not synching automatically. I need to press sync manuelly to do. All apps are updated, all settings look fine. Please help me synch bookmarks across platforms. Thanks a lot.

The email account I use for my firefox login is now no longer in use, is there anyway I can change the primary email to a different one, I am currently logged in but dont have a back email on my account and if I try to add one it wants to send me a verifaction code to the email I can't access.

mozilla keeps crashing almost on every website (says the tab has crashed). I checked, mozila is up to date, all extensions removed, no viruses or spyware, and it is crashing in troubleshoot mode as well.

Also few times a day says "your device ran in to a problem and needs to restart). Please advise what to do? Here is a submitted crash reports:

Is there a way to remove specific stories from appearing? I'm Canadian and do not wish to see what the US President has done in these stories. Google News has a hide feature for specific keywords. Does Mozilla?

My emails used to display in date order but since a Mozilla upgrade they are now grouped as Today, Yesterday and Last Week. Is there a setting to alter this back to one list in date order please?

2. System Configuration

RAM: 64 GB DDR4 dual-channel (16-20-20-38 @ 1572 MHz)

Motherboard: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 (AM4) @ 54 °C

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (audio drivers disabled, audio hardware off)

3. Tests Performed 3.1 DAC and USB Validation

Continuous playback of PCM 384 kHz/24‑bit and DSD256 via Roon/ASIO.

Duration: over 25 minutes of uninterrupted DSD256 playback.

Result: no crackling, pops, or errors.

Conclusion: DAC, firmware, USB cables, ports, and power supply are fully operational; heavy data load does not cause errors.

3.2 Browser Comparison

Chrome (YouTube, identical conditions): continuous playback without crackling.

Firefox (YouTube, identical conditions): crackling progressively appears minutes into playback, temporarily disappearing when the video is paused.

3.3 Isolation of Variables

USB motherboard ports and original drivers fully tested.

GPU audio drivers and hardware disabled.

Windows Shared Mode off, Exclusive Mode enabled.

Predefined audio formats set according to DAC preferences.

USB power management disabled.

DAC temperature stable; no overheating observed.

4. Technical Conclusion

Hardware: DAC, USB, cables, power, firmware, and GPU are not the cause of the crackling.

Operating System: Windows 11 is correctly configured; Exclusive Mode / ASIO works without errors.

Browser: Firefox is the only element consistently reproducing the issue.

Most Likely Cause: Firefox’s buffer management and audio sandboxing interacting with Windows, causing intermittent interruptions in audio flow.

Summary: All hardware and OS factors have been tested and validated: DAC, USB, cables, power supply, firmware, GPU, and temperature do not produce crackling. The only consistent factor is Firefox, making this a software-bound issue.

Engineering Note: This diagnosis conclusively demonstrates that the intermittent audio crackling on YouTube is caused exclusively by Firefox on Windows 11, independent of DAC or USB hardware. The issue should be investigated at the browser level, specifically how Firefox handles continuous digital audio streams and buffers on Windows.
