places.sqlite: this file records EVERY website I've ever visited in a db table! This despite opting out of History and flushing daily It's frustrating that FF surreptiously collects such personal info. Why record every site I visit, date-timestamps, frequency, etc.?

As test, I changed the name to places-sqlite.old to see if FF will create a new one It didn't make a new table; re-created the old one.

I need to update FF because of the expired certificates, but would like to clear these out first. Similarly, can I get rid of the icon database? My bookmarks are backed up as JSON and HTML files. I just wished they didn't contain extraneous info

I loved the picture-in-picture mode. However, when I closed the picture in picture mode, the video automatically stopped. Is there any ways where the video still plays even after I closed the picture in picture mode?

None of my saved passwords in my Mozilla account are showing up when I switch laptops and try to logon to various sites. Instead I have to manually enter the passwords for the sites every time even though the sites show that I have saved passwords for that site in my Mozilla account. When I type the password in a old or new site, Mozilla doesn't even ask if I want to save the password anymore.

What the heck is going on? Update 136.0.1

I wants me to log in with the primary PW EVERY time I open it. Every time. I don't need that, and don't need the PW.

Is there a way to turn that off? It's a royal pain.

After entering verification code from email i receive an error every time i try to login into this account on my PC, i fully cleared browser data several times but it didn't help

How can i download a pdf of my passwords. I think i need to set up a lock screen first. Please give precise instructions how to accomplish both these tasks. Im having great difficulty signing in and out of sites so until i figure out how and why things have changed i need a list of passwords. My device is currently unlocked. I have trouble finding my way back to my questions here. Why doesnt firefox have a history function? Sometimes it does but its not recent. I put all these questions together because its too difficult finding my way back to every individual question. I have a hundred questions about firefox so many that its daunting to consider as it would take me days to do and its time i dont have. Title is quite descriptive. A few hours ago I cleared all my cookies and cache and a while later the browser updated. Now, whenever I close Firefox it automatically logs me out of my Google accounts. This happens only with Google accounts, as I'm still logged into other accounts.

I just made this account today with the password saved to Firefox password but it keep saying I got it wrong please help if not it's okay it's new I can make another one

Recently many sites have (for reasons I cannot fathom) introduced a pre-login form: ie a form that requires a username to be entered before an password text box is provided. This seems to be a trend and it is incredibly annoying.

The issue I have is that FF does not recognise the page/form as a login page and therefore does not provide a list of usernames for the domain in question.

Any advice or help would be very much appreciated.

The security sequence for log-in is supply of user-id and then password; that works fine; then a send unique code dialogue pops up and it leads to an error screen which I am attaching. I have rung the number provided and they say they don't support Firefox; so that looks like end of Firefox use to me and goodbye (can't find a tearful emoji to insert).

Gotta say this kind of thing is happening quite frequently for me; mostly without a nice error screen like this one; last one I recall was hunting for car insurance; on the screen where it listed the billions of quotes to eager providers none of the links to click through for the quotes worked... and with this happeneing more frequently now you go... ohh it's firefox again isn't it... so you reluctantly fire up Google Chrome and of course it works OK.

So I'm kinda here with a broader outlook than just this specific problem; I really am on the verge of giving up with Firefox; it should just work shouldn't it; and it increasingly doesn't anymore; I don't want to get into an extended and convoluted dialogue to help you cure this issue; I'm simply perplexed that some really basic stuff doesn't work anymore; however; I've used Firefox for centuries so thought I should give you at least a chance so I could declare how I feel etc.

I am up for a dialogue over this and hoping this is an easy fix; but; as I say; I'm confused as to why, for me, Firefox just simply doesn't work well anymore; it just should and I shouldn't be here.
