Every time I have to type in a multi line field I have to select my preferred spell check dictionary. Even after changing the selection in another tab in this current run of Firefox I have had to change the spell check dictionary in this tab again.

I have two spell check dictionaries loaded English (Australia) and English (United States). How do I get Firefox to only use English (Australia) and never to use English (United States) ever again?

I am using Linux 22.04 and the snap installed version of Firefox 103.0.2. My OS locale is set to en_AU.

Prevent Firefox from remembering/displaying login names for sites which are set to not remember credentials

I regularly see suggested login names for sites such as my credit card companies. I highlight them, delete them, and days later, they are back again. I never want selected web site login pages to show suggested login names. How do I prevent Firefox from doing this.

I do wish to have user ID and passwords auto-filled for some sites. I am happy with some Forms data being remembered, such as name & address.

Suggestions ???

Starting in July 2022, when I launch gmail at the usual url https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox, My Gmail is a blank screen on Firefox. I cleared my cookies and always ensure I am using the latest update for Firefox. I tried disabling addons, clearing cookies, etc . Now, in order to access gmail, I have to use alternative browsers. Does anyone know if there is a current BUGZILLA issue opened for this problem (I looked earlier and could not workarounds or bug fixes for this - but, may have missed it in my search?) I noticed other reports of this issue from other Firefox users as well.

Hello, for my study I'm searching a lot of information on different websites for different school subjects and have currently accumulated over 1000 tabs open/active in my Firefox (web) on my laptop. I usually open websites and don't close them with the assumption and just to be on the safe side I might need them later. However, I would like to group/bundle these tabs into different categories according to the subjects I'm working to keep it manageable. Is this possible (preferably not by means of an add-on)?

Login to google account - button redirects to my previous school's microsoft login which doesn't exist anymore and I can not login to an account without the schools ending after @ in the adress or it says its wrong. How to get into my existing drive or gmail?

This morning, my computer (Windows 10) had some sort of update that caused it to restart. Upon restart, neither BitDefender nor Firefox would open without crashing. I reinstalled both programs to see if that helped, but it did no good. I then completely uninstalled BitDefender, but Firefox still wouldn't open. I can't even open it in Safe Mode. They're the only programs that seem to be affected. I tried to find out what exactly updated so I could roll it back, but I can't find record of anything. Since the last update, I've been having an issue where after about an hour or two of using firefox (it varies), video players on some websites will stop working. I've noticed that Tumblr and TikTok's video players are affected by this. Restarting firefox fixes it, but it's very annoying to restart firefox every couple of hours, and seems like a problem.

The following things didn't fix it: clearing my cache, disabling my addons one by one, turning off hardware acceleration, trying to watch the video in a private window, or reinstalling firefox. I don't know what's left to try.

When I search for driving schools in my area; my driving school comes up with two stars. Several months back my 4.9 rating with over three hundred reviews would come up. Someone changed the way it is coming up and it's showing two stars with one review from Yelp? Please help me. This is not fair?

I am trying to register with Stripe, through their register page, but it just shows up blank in Firefox. (Shows up fine in Chrome.) Is there a settign in Firefox I might have set up wrong?

Hello. The icon symbol on the taskbar is showed not correct, it looks like a sheet of paper with an earmark. In the menu and the desktop it is showed correct. When i choose the icon in the settings i see the right icon, but with klick on OK the icon will not assume. What can i do? Thank you

My browser is "zooming in" on print jobs and only printing a small section of the top of the print job. See image attached. Doesn't happen in other programs. Preferences have been reset. Shrink in about:config set to true.

I made a new weibo account that needed an password. I used firefox's auto gen password and selected save password. But firefox is not saving this password, nor is it autofilling or in the saved login section in the settings. I always had this problem. Now i need this password because weibo requires me to use my username instead of my number to get my account back. But I didn't even make an username yet because I can't log in after I made an account. I just need to get this password back.

Idk why but sometimes firefox just doesn't prompt to generate secure password, I even have to download some extensions to generate secure password (Secure Password Generator) meaning more secure issues.

My guess is that you guys probably hardcoded something like {if "type: password" then prompt}, but it's still partly fault at developers too for bringing these huge chunks of javascript.

But I've turned it off and reloading https://webbrowsertools.com/timezone/ still shows UTC time (though my system timezone is -0700 (CST)). Hi guys. So I've had Duckduckgo privacy essentials for a while now and it always worked in a way that it blocked all tracking requests and it always blocked third party requests on all websites. I guess that's the proper way it should work. A few days ago I've noticed when I click on the addon, that it doesn't block tracking requests nor third party requests on any website. All it shows is "Encrypted Connection" and I have Site privacy protection on. I've tried going in it's options but I didn't find anything there to help me get it back to it's previous state where it blocks the above mentioned. Am I missing something? Was there some kind of an update that changed the settings of the addon? Any answers will be appriciated.

Try to do a search and fails however I go to Chrome and no problem. Appears there is a sort of break in last upgrade which I just completed. This is MOST frustrating!!!!!
