I use Firefox on a PC to access Facebook (website, not app). This week the Messenger/Chat feature stopped working. I click the icon and it opens but nothing appears in the box, it just hangs. There is an option to open in its own window, but that also is blank - no past messages, no contact names, no ability to start new message. When I log onto Facebook in Edge, Messenger works fine in Facebook.

I've tried everything I found on the internet for this issue - updated and refreshed Firefox, cleared history/cache/cookies/site data, uninstalled and reinstalled Messenger, refreshed Facebook to initial settings, used Firefox in troubleshooting mode, reset everything, turned off browser, turned off my computer, used shift key to reload tab - nothing has worked. There are some instructions about stuck cookies, but I didn't understand them so I didn't try that one thing. I've gone into every menu I can find to try to figure out this issue, which isn't the end of the world, but I would appreciate some other ideas for what is suddenly causing this. Because now I have to redo all of my settings and preferences and logins and the problem still isn't fixed.

as an Manager Service Provider I use Firefox on a daily basis to access our management platforms. Just recently one of our providers launched an new platform to submit supporttickets, get information and sorts.

The issue I am facing is the following:

• start Firefox in Normal Mode
• login URL is https://me.n-able.com/s/sso-login
• upon entering my credentials and 2FA (which are 100% correct) I am presented with an error from SalesForce stating 'We can’t log you in because of an authentication error.'

When I start Firefox in either Incognito Mode or Troubleshoot Mode and following exactly the same process there is no issue all.

Of course I checked add-ons and extensions:

• between Normal and Incognito there is no difference
• between Normal and Troubleshoot I so no differences also

Firefox keeps getting worse and doesn't work correctly on more and more websites. Every time Firefox fails I switch to a Chrome-based browser and the website works properly. Although not limited to handling of document downloads (banks, credit cards), printing a website's page (File, Print frequently results in a blank page, and/or missing text or images or both, whereas with a Chrome based browser the page prints properly 95% of the time) and possibly to pop-ups (which seem to be blocked without notice). This has been getting worse for many months. About 20-30% of the regular websites i visit are marked as "Chrome only" because they don't work fully with Firefox. These tend to be banks, credit card companies, online stores. I used to complain to companies that their websites don't work with Firefox, but its clear that they don't care, and I now realize that the real problem is that Firefox doesn't care. One website I spoke to (which wouldn't print in Firefox or Chrome) apologized for not setting the website up properly for printing. My guess is that many websites never test with Firefox because most of their customers use Chrome based browsers. For all its flaws, I would rather use Firefox than Chrome-based, but Firefox keeps making it harder to justify that view. When it comes to just looking at websites, Firefox is usually very good, but beyond basic viewing, Firefox is losing ground to most other browsers. I know there are no specifics here, and i think it unlikely anybody will take this seriously.

I noticed past few months I'm getting this message from cloudflare after using certain websites while using Firefox on Desktop. I have refresh Firefox every time this happens I tried disabling my adblockers, lowering settings, and disabling my Pi-Hole the issue still persists. Does anyone know what the issue might be or someone else experiencing this?

When I login with United Health Care and the information that I need will not show. It did previously. So I had to use Google to get into United Health Care. Should I uninstall then install Firefox?

So there's this website called https://userstyles.org, also called stylish and I wanted to get a new theme for my discord, but everytime I clicked on a theme to download to change it shows up as a blank, white screen even after turning my tracker protection off for it :( idk what to change to help this!!

Have consistently had issues with Firefox not playing streaming video. This has persisted through a couple of updates. It was working for a long time on this channel (https://www.twitch.tv/mst3k) but has been failing constantly and had to switch to Chrome to view the stream. Any suggestions for a fix? Dave

I use a website from the USPS and have for 20 years. Why, all of a sudden, it will not open. There is no error message. It just keeps trying to load the page. Firefox is my browser of choice by a lot, but if I can't do my work, I can't use it.

For the past several weeks when I click on Messenger from the Facebook web page I get a blank page with the Facebook header. Same if I click the little shortcut button (brings up a blank box). I've cleared all cookies and cache but no change. I do not have this problem with Safari so I believe it is a Firefox issue and not a Facebook issue.

We have an intranet site that works fine in Chrome and Edge, but does not load at all in Firefox. In Firefox, an authentication dialog appears, but after entering correct credentials, it just re-shows the same authentication dialog after a few seconds. This repeats indefinitely. There is no useful info (and pretty much no info of any kind) in the dev tools. I have tried Firefox in safe mode, with no changes to the behavior.

What steps can I try to debug this problem?

When I try to access screwfix.com from the uk, their address appears in the the tab but I get a blank screen instead of the homepage.

The same thing happens when accessing from a favourite (displayed on the FF opening page) or a listing from a search engine.

The website works as normal in SeaMonkey. I have restored the profile folder from a back up. I've turned off enhaced tracking protection for the site.

Any further suggestions please? TIA Dave

For the past few days the website 'dictionary.com' does not load on Firefox (I'm using a laptop with Windows 10). The screen reads "Unexpected Application Error! aN.findLast is not a function". I've deleted all cookies and caches, but the problem still is occurring. Help!

Clearing the cache does not fix. However, this site works fine in Firefox nightly or Chrome.

Every time I log onto my Shopify account it logs me out right away. This doesn't happen on other browsers. Has anyone experienced this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but I've had no luck.

An XML document under a URI http://base/sub/document.xml uses an XSLT stylesheet under a URI http://base/sub/stylesheet.xslt. The server redirects permanently to http://base/stylesheet.xslt (response code 301). The stylesheet file contains <xsl:include href = "common.xslt"/>. Firefox fails to GET http://base/sub/common.xslt ?? Instead, Firefox should GET http://base/common.xslt (?). So, the base URI of a document under a permanently redirected URI is not the redirected, but the original URI ?

My version of Firefox on one of my laptops goes screwy when I try to use the Lean library extension. this does not happen on other laptops. I've cleared the cache and redownloaded the softward but nothing helps. I'm switching to another browser on that laptop.

"Cobrowse" on US Bank Website doesn't work, Using Firefox 117.0 (64-bit) for Ubuntu

On the US Bank website (http://www.usbank.com/), there is a "cobrowse" feature that apparently uses javascript. It doesn't work with standard settings.

Attempting to invoke it only gets a blue rectangle around the "cobrowse" link at the bottom left of the page, and displays "Javascript" in the lower left corner.

It should display a validation to allow the technician to follow and assist your actions on the site.

JavaScript is enabled.

I would like to use this feature.

I just reinstalled Windows 11 on my PC and Firefox along with it. I tried to access my school Outlook account on Firefox however I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error when it redirects me to Duo Security. Going back one page displays the error code "Authentication access denied" (also on Duo Security). I have tried: - Restarting my PC, both through windows and through a hard reset - Clearing my cache and cookies - using Troubleshooting mode - Allowing Firefox through my Windows firewall - disabling my firewall - changing networks This problem only appears in Firefox, as I am able to log in on Edge.
