When using a pen to write in windows Firefox doesn't detect it and a text box doesn't appear. I've tested with chrome, as well as several other applications and they all work fine. I've also tried reinstalling firefox, as well as disabling all addons. Running latest version of windows 11 and firefox. The screenshot that I've included is what it should look like in Chrome.

when I play a video in Firefox, it doesn't keep the screen on.

I need this accessibility feature.

This happens, at least, with Debian 12's Firefox (uptodate), like over 1 year now.

Please help with that too.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

/* General highlight (for text selection, etc.) */

selection {

   background: #FFFF00 !important;  /* Yellow background */
   color: #000000 !important;       /* Black text */

}

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

   background: #FFFF00 !important;  /* Yellow background */
   color: #000000 !important;       /* Black text */

}

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

There must be a way to make this "find" feature useful for me.

As a user of Firefox has been a good experience up till three weeks ago YouTube will not load. I cant play any of there videos this is been on going for three weeks. Ive asked you to fix it but so far you aren't doing anything about it. My operating system is windows 10 64 bits. Can you please look into this and get it fixed. The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

The main screen (desktop) there were 4 rows of bookmarks connecting me (user) with the websites that are frequently connected. Recently after restarting the desktop computer, those shortcut bookmarks no longer display. Plus I'm unable to connect to the record of bookmarks previously saved using the star icon. Hi, when I want to zoom in to the website page, I cant seem to find the horizontal scroll, thus I cant see the left side of the page that I zoomed in. Please make the horizontal scroll available. Thank you.

I have Verizon FIOS and have been able to receive cable channels on my laptop until recently. Now I cannot access them without a sign-in which leads to some sort of error that I don't understand. Any help?

I am interested in going to Windows 11, but I don't know what procedure to use to do that; all the info is confusing To me, the info makes it look like I need to buy another Computer, even though I have a perfectly good operating DELL Inspiron 1 that is not that old, 4 years old with a new hard drive.

I received a notice from centurylink about their changing my user I.D. from [edited] @q.com to [edited] @myctl.net beginning on 10/21/2025. I signed into my account, using the new email ([edited] @myctl.net) and now I'm blocked from my email / webmail Is firefox blocking my email account??

Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.
