Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

My Mac Mini had the latest Firefox, and I didn't see irritating ads on several sites I visit daily. The Mini, maxed out on Catalina (OS x 10.15), died last week, and I'm now on an slightly less old MBP, now on (OS x 12.7.6)Monterey, up to date Firefox, and all the ads are showing? What happened?

I have updated my firefox on W11 laptop to the latest version 147.0.3 (64-bit) but it cannot show any pictures from some, but not all, sites. Not from www.svt.se nor from www.yr.no But its ok from other sites, as www.tradera.com and www.kjell.com

It works fine using android firefox version 147.0.3

Any ideas, anyone?

Normally, when zoom in on a web page in Firefox, the page will adjust so the page content is still visible, by insisting the magnified content is still visible, or a vertical scroll bar is created to reveal the content.

I also run into pages where the content is only visible when the page is 100% or less.

Can this be adjusted?

Hi, I'm on Firefox 147.0.3 and windows 11 business 25H2 (26200.7623), with two displays. For the past few weeks: - firefox stays on top - alt-tab to other window on that screen doesn't work, other app is not displayed over firefox - clicking on other app icon in task bar doesn't bring it to foreground/top - even other firefox window (like new private window) is opened in background - the only way around is to minimize firefox - without firefox opened, everything works normally It is really disturbing my flow / ways of interacting with apps / habit of using keyboard to move between apps.

Is it a bug, or is it a matter of some settings? I've seen similar quesiton from 9 years ago https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1140245 but there is no setting of the same name now?

At some point in the last couple of weeks, I've started running into very frequent crashes running Firefox in the Linux container on my Chromebook. It previously worked well, but is now unusable. I'm now running Firefox version 147.0.3 on Chrome version 144.0.7559.167. This is after I did a clean reinstall of Firefox using flatpak, which didn't help. It seems like it often happens when my mouse hovers over a browser tab or icon (eg account, extensions, hamburger). Other quirky display behaviour, which mayor may not related, is that videos are often not working (eg Youtube, BBC), and various browser windows (eg when selecting Manage Bookmarks, or restarting in safe mode), open a small size-reduced window. Obwohl in den Einstellung automatische Wiederherstellung alter Tabs eingestellt war, wurde dies nicht durchgeführt. Da ich es zu spät gemerkt hatte, konnte ich nicht über die Chronik die alte Sitzung wiederherstellen. Was kann ich jetzt machen?

his is a new issue starting from FF 148.0.3

In FF on my PC I create a folder in the bookmarks toolbar for that day's research. I drag page URLs into there to bookmark sites/pages for follow up reading.

As extpected the shortcuts have the site's icons.

Open FF on my Macbook at home and since this verion, no favionns until I open the respective pages.

This is new. All other sync seems fine.

Whenever i go on my yahoo mail I get a security alert that says: we have prevented your access to cowhuntforenenst.com I have run my anti virus and malwarebites thinking it may be a virus but it didn't come up as one. And it's only happening on firefox not other browsers. Is there a way to fix this?

I often hit ^T (control-T) in firefox without meaning to, because I use that chord in other applications a lot. In firefox it opens a new tab, which is almost never what I want. I'd like to suppress that keyboard shortcut. I tried doing it using vimium (unmap <c-t>) but that has no effect.
