AI chatbot: Does the text I write and highlight in Firefox automatically get recorded even if the AI it is turned off?

I noticed that even if the AI is turned off, the check box for  "Show prompts on text select

Displays a shortcut to prompts when you select text. Firefox sends the text, page title, and prompt to the chatbot." is always checked and greyed out.

What gives Firefox folks of knowledge?

Hi, Thank you for your help My two devices are connected and recognize each other. The bookmark sync works somehow but seems frozen 6 months ago. The new macos : 13.1 with firefox 131 The old mac os :10.11 and firefox 78 I don't understand and can't sort it out.

Hello, I have just reinstalled Windows on my PC and when I logged into my Firefox account, none of the data I had synced up. I lost all my bookmarks, accounts, logins, etc. Is there any way to get them back?

Now when signing into my email Outlook account, jjeuler@msn.com, I get the message after the Stay Loged in Page, in the upper left corner "Too Many requests"! Reboot and going to other sites does not correct this. I can go to any other page and do not get this. I do have in my saved password file the long Firefox Reset Key. Using it though my loose all my book marks. What steps do I need to do to eliminate this problem? I can sign into my Outlook email account instantly with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Now after waiting for a while, the email page opened. Could this be the volume of CPU processes that are ongoing. I will check on Task Manager to see. At times when first booting CPU goes to 100%. Now it is at 24%. James

Why do I have to enter my logins and passwords for my MSN, Outlook, Yahoo and myyahoo everytime I start up firefox? It is getting very annoying.

Hello, I beg you to help me. I love firefox, I've been using this browser since my first time since I had. So I am REALLY old user, I think it's almost 10 years. So I had no idea about your rules about keys and if I restet my password all of my synchronization will be gone. I am using the same device that I had for 4 years, but I did a factory reset. Please take my data, I don't care about privacy and everything I just want to get my passwords and bookmarks that I had for almost 10 years. I beg you. You are my only hope to restore it. Please. I had so many passwords synch on my firefox account. I dont have any physical copy of those passwords. If they are gone I don't know what to do. Please help me.

I wanted to sign in to my google account but the link under logging in is towards a help centre question about clearing cache. I can in no way log in to my google account on firefox. Can someone help me with this? This crashing must stop...It is an annoyance that is troubling. 1st Reagan.com disappears (customer service), now constant crashing and not a word about fixing it, AFTER reporting it. Explain. Or lose a subscriber.

I am presently having trouble loading websites and speed times are very slow.

Been using firefox for 7 years and never had an issue on linux versions. Though on macos I seem to be having these slow load times.

Also rendering images and content takes quite a while to do this.

I am currently running Firefox 131.0.3 (aarch64)

This is on a iMac m3 running Macos sonoma 14.6.1

I have compared this with safari and chrome and it seems to be much better.

Is there a test I can run to see if everything is okay?

As of the lastest Firefox upgrade Pinterest is completely broken. When I log in the home page loads, but all instead of pictures I see colored boxes. The only images I see are the animated ads, they show fine. In other words, the opposite of what I want. I am only using adblock origin as an extension. I have cleared website data, clicked the shield to stop blocking, and rebooted firefox in safe mode yet the problem persists. Every other browser I have can show pinterest just fine. Safari and Chrome have no issues, only Firefox. I am using Firefox 131.0.3 on MacOS Sonoma 14.7.

I'm experiencing a relatively new issue where mono audio in Firefox only plays out of the left channel. The same sources play out of both channels in Safari. I'm on MacOS 14.6.1, Firefox 131.0.3. Any help is appreciated - thanks!

Both show up just fine for other people and for me when I access them with other browsers.

My problem occurs when I use Firefox to work on OtherNetworks. I'm going to try attaching screen shots of the Main Page. The first is from a normal view of my main page taken with another browser. In this shot the graphic is on the right

The second one is the same page taken with Firefox as the browser. I can't even figure out how to describe what is wrong with that second display.

I'm wishing for someone to figure out what is going on here and tell me how to restore FireFox so I can use it to work on my website. Is there some setting in Firefox or in the OtherNetworks site that is causing the awkward layout when using Firefox. I'm rather dependent on the bookmarks in Firefox.

I set passcodes in Firefox for Atlantic Health MyChart & MyChart RWJBH & I need to copy need to my Passsword App in MacOS Sequoia. I tried To Copy/Paste them, but it didn't work. What do I need to do to get them added to the Mac Password App?

Is there a way to back up the tabs I have open? I tried a tab manager, I've forgotten it's name, a few years ago and it worked for a while then the folders I had started to come up empty. I e-mailed the owner but got no response and no help getting the lost tabs back. I am looking at Tree Style Tab but any other suggestions are welcome.

I had to reinstall Firefox and now my Windows 11 24 H2 computer is constantly giving me this message in the notification area. I believe it is a scam message, I do not run McAfee. I can not reach Tractorsuppy.com from my firefox browser. I have used it with no issues for over a year. I am able to reach it if I use google browser. I get a message 502 Bad Gateway. Please help!
