I had a game freeze on me and the freeze was the kind that prevented me from accessing Task Manager to force end it. I executed a Sign Out from the Windows Security window since that always fixes the issue for me. Firefox was one of the programs running at the time that I forced the sign out. Upon signing back in, Firefox no longer loads. Execute the program, UAC pops up to ask if I am sure I want to run Firefox and I hit Yes. Instead of running, like it normally does, it prompts me with another UAC window. Hit yes, another UAC windows. No error messages, it just keeps throwing up new UAC prompts at me. I turn off the UAC and Firefox still doesn't open, but I can see in Task Manager that it keeps opening and closing instances of itself.
Restarted multiple times, didn't resolve the issue. Uninstalled it, no change. Uninstalled my antivirus since that was causing me some other issues, no change. Tried to run the profile manager and it goes into a UAC loop as well. Copied my profile, deleted the original, clean installed Firefox... no change.
I haven't been able to find any information at all about any similar issue anywhere, so I really don't know what else to do.

A red error message took over my page while I was online saying Mozilla has detected an attempt to use my password to get into my bank account but they weren’t successful. The message warned me I might have a virus or malware and posted a phone number to call right away. In the meantime my Mozilla crashed and I decided to exit rather than start it again. I did not call the number because I have no way to confirm if this is legitimate or a phishing ploy but there IS NO WAY TO CONTACT MOZILLA. Can someone please help me figure out what to do and what this is? Thank you.

I have an Office 365 personal account. When attempting to use FF to log in to One Drive directly -- meaning, I go straight to the One Drive login page via bookmark, and do not attempt to enter One Drive via a "side door" such as a link on Outlook.com -- I encounter significant latency and, often, outright non-responsiveness. Last Pass will not autofill the login credentials; nor can I type them in directly with anything other than crippling latency, if at all. Same latency with password and 2-factor entry. If I am able to survive log-in, One Drive presents significant lag to clicks, often accompanied by fleeting clues in the lower-left corner of the screen, usually involving cryptography such as "waiting for cdn-15 office.net . . . " or something similar. Often the word "Excel" or "Word" will be displayed in one of those messages, but they are so fleeting (and appear to be truncated for display) that I can't capture them completely.
Switching off extensions appears to have no effect. The lag and general unresponsiveness continues.
Interestingly, when I instead log in directly to Outlook (and not One Drive), and then move into One Drive via a One Drive link that is presented in the Outlook waffle button, then One Drive appears to behave promptly and normally. No lag issues that I can determine. (Also, with all FF extensions=true, login and use of Outlook is satisfactory. No problems that I can see).
The Windows One Drive app, which runs on the local system, also appears to function normally. I can see/modify files in my One Drive via the local app. That's groovy, but sometimes you need to see the file system in the web browser.
So I guess that's the workaround: Get access to One Drive by going *through* Outlook. Okay, but why? What's going on? How to fix?
Thank you.

Earthlink E-mail both old and new versions do not work properly in Firefox 57 and higher. The function tabs above any message (print, delete etc.) don't respond to clicking. They used to work just fine. Everything works in IE but I use Firefox. The Options are set to open tabs in new windows as always. Earthlink tech support says it's Firefox's problem.
I've launched in safe mode. Still crashing. Either tab or program, or both. Issues with Last Pass, Evernote? Can someone review my error logs? Windows 10 PC.
Slow and crashes in Chrome and Edge too.

Any image from https://lh3.googleusercontent.com doesn't show. I get image2 when I right click "View image" on the profile pictures that don't show.
How can I fix this?
Thanks.

After recent firefox update, about 2 days ago, I can no longer watch live programs on fubotv. Had to switch to Chrome to watch fubo tv. After reading help articles I found that my firewall had been turned off, so that wasn't it, and there was no shield icon next to the url, so that wasn't the problem. I have an iMac, OSX Yosemite, version 10.10.5 and have been streaming MSNBC with no problems until 2 days ago, right after recent Firefox Update. Am now watching fubo tv on Chrome. Any ideas?

Ever since my first ever use of FireFox the setting to "update" has been set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them".
Yesterday I clicked to accept the latest update (to 71.0 I think) at which point the programme simply crashed without warning.
I went through various processes to try and resurrect FF, but without success --- FireFox would not run.
I eventually resorted to installing Version 65.0 but, despite the update settings being set as above, Version 71 kept installing and making FF a "non-starter" again.
I made an alteration to the "about:config" which seems to have stopped the automatic updating, albeit the "FF Icon" still wants to function as "Updater" and I get a message (when started) saying FF is unable to update to the latest version - "click here to download etc.," which of course I don't do and FF continues to perform as expected - albeit 65 and not 71.
Is there a problem with Version 71 and (possible) Win 7 64 bit ?
How can I reconfigure the "FF Icon" to simply start the programme (version 65) in the normal way and not get involved with it wanting to update all the time?
Another peculiarity that has arisen is that, when I try to change the Default language from American English to British English I receive a message saying FF cannot change as it is not online. (Version 65 and it is definitely online)
I have carried out system scans for Viruses etc., perform really in-depth un-installations of FF, and no new applications have recently been installed.

For the last few days my Firefox browser is unable to start. I have tried reinstalling it, turning off antivirus/firewall and cleaning up the registry but it is still the same results every time.

Having some trouble with Firefox and I'm at my wits end on how to fix it. Clicking the Firefox icon in Windows 10 (whether that's in the Start menu, the taskbar or the app itself in Program Files) won't launch Firefox. The blue loading spinner appears briefly next to the pointer, then disappears. Sometimes a Firefox process appears in Task Manager then instantly disappears, but sometimes it doesn't. Here's what I've tried so far:
- Restarting - Reinstalling - Deleting my Firefox profile and all Firefox app files - Launching in safe mode by holding shift - Launching in safe mode by adding the "-safe-mode" comment - Running as administrator - Checking it's not being blocked by antivirus - Loading the Firefox profile manager by typing "firefox.exe -P" in the run dialog box. This does the same as trying to load Firefox - nothing happens
I can't think what else to do. It may be a coincidence, but my primary monitor died, I restarted the PC and then Firefox wouldn't work. I can't see how it could be related, but who knows.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am running a recently refreshed version of Firefox 71.0 (64 bit). My Firefox is closing completely whenever I try to browse to locate a file. This happens on multiple sites, but as an example, I went to https://send.firefox.com/ and tried to browse out for a file. The file explorer window opens, but then Firefox freezes and shuts down. There are no crash reports generated when this happens. This also happens when I run Firefox in safe mode. This has been happening for a few days and was also happening in Firefox 70.0.1.
I tried the same process using Microsoft Edge, and I am able to browse out for the file without issue.
Thank You
