Running latest version of Catalina and Firefox for MacOS. The only thing I can see is the black apple and the word Firefox in the upper left hand corner. Menu is active if I roll the cursor over it but I can only read a couple of dropdown items. Anyone else having this problem? Screenshot attached.

In my preferences I have "Restore previous session" checkbox checked and "Warn you when quitting the browser" unchecked. However I get a warning when I quit the browser with multiple tabs open, and my old tabs don't reopen when reopening Firefox.
I think this has started happening since updating to Catalina. Any ideas what might be going wrong?

I am on my Mac Pro, running OS 10.14.3. If I open listings on a Windows machine on the same internet connection, the pages load fine. The problem persists even after clearing the cache/cookies. I need to find out what is causing this, as I use eBay on a daily basis for work. If anyone has any ideas, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. The only extensions I am using are UBlock Origin (pages do not load properly with it disabled, either), Facebook Purity, and New Tab override.

I have a large amount of bookmarks that I keep in Firefox, and they are divided into folders, so that I know where they are, and what they are for.... Unfortunately, some of those folders are now empty, with no bookmarks in them anymore, and I cannot figure why this has happened. I have certain folders that have several internal folders in them, and they were all full of bookmarks that I needed, but now almost 3/4 of those folders are empty. Has Firefox randomly deleting bookmarks now for some idiotic reason, and if so, how do I get them all back where they belong?? I swear, I am 2 steps away from giving up on Firefox completely now, because very time I blink, something else is not working right, and now I am not even allowed to keep bookmarks. What group of monkeys has taken over the Firefox browser project, and why can't they keep what used to be one of the best browsers out, working correctly?? Does it automatically fallback to premise DNS server or fallback is config driven and if fallback disabled then it continue using DOH only in which case things will continue to fail forever. Is it possible firewall can generate some end user notification to browser so it can detect block (e.g connection refused etc) connection and fallback? Yes my firewall is kind of MITM and does terminate TCP connection so its firewall/proxy.

The last time I downloaded 70.0.1, I anchored the icon to my toolbar. When I click on that, the download box appears again.
How do I get 70.0.1 to replace the ESR-linked 68 something on my computer? How do I remove myself from the ESR updates?
