please tell me how to remove the fake virus warning pop ups, I have followed all the directions, but the remove website, & remove all website buttons are greyed out, how do I continue now with the removal of the pop ups?

after creating a new profile, and copying everything in the root directory to the new profile, including search.json.mozlz4, the default search engine setting does not get transferred over and is still set to google

Some shades of white have a purple tinge to them. The amazon logo, certain themes, and other websites are slightly purple. This is only an issue in firefox, not any other program or browser.

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. I seem to have a problem with Firefox's builtin PDF viewer. Instead of black text on a white or gray background or something else sensible, I get black text floating over my desktop background in the part of the Firefox window that's showing a PDF. PDFs display fine in an external viewer, but that's just passing the buck, isn't it? Is there a way to fix this on Firefox?

I suspect hardware acceleration is the issue, but everything else seems fine, so I don't want to just blanket disable hardware acceleration. How can acceleration for PDFs alone be disabled?

I don't want to use passkeys, and it seems that every site is checking browser support and wasting my time with passkey prompts before allowing me to log in with a password. How do I disable passkey support in Firefox?

As I said in the title, the spellchecker add-on I use, LanguageTool, does not work on this site. I am not fine with that. What's the best way to get it working here? Any answers that amount to "you don't" are not acceptable.

How do I stop these recurring update notices? Every 3 seconds. I'll update when I am ready as this current one does not affect me at all. For a while I fell for it, stopped what I was doing and did the ridiculous update, it still continues! I can move on to a different non-Mozilla browser if I have too. Return the option to not update and/or do it manually. FF127.0.2

I am hoping that there is a way in which I can organise (permanently, not just the current display) my bookmarks alphabetically though still separated by folders and bookmarks. In case that isn't clear, the order would be:

1. 1 all of the folders grouped together in alphabetical order, then
2. 2 all the bookmarks grouped together in alphabetical order.

I am finding more and more sites that I regularly go to are no longer working on firefox. One site was because HTML5 apparently does not work on firefox. But others I don't know about why are no longer working on firefox. I thought it might be streaming related but just today I could not access one of my banks on firefox, and I tried many times, but had no problem signing on using Chrome.

Everything was fine, then one recent day - BAM - my logins and passwords are gone.

The profile is otherwise fine, everything is as expected. Logins.json (243K) is fine, all the logins (last id is 459) are there, they just don't show up in about:logins (except for new ones I added since the disappearance).

When opening about:logins, browser console reports:
