Ever since the new update(s) my FF gets laggy from time to time (scroll wise). It's like my FPS drops when trying to scroll through the pages. It happens randomly. The only way to get it back to normal is to minimize the browser and maximize again. What's going on? This is a really annoying problem, and I don't want to switch to Chrome or something since I've been with FF for over a decade.

Why do so many add-ons and extensions require this permission? According to Mozilla Support page, this permission allows the extension to read information I enter into website like username and password. How is this not a breach of privacy? I am talking about add-ons and extensions like ad-blocker and many video downloaders.

I started my PC this morning and tried to start Firefox Quantum. The PC rebooted. When it came back up, I used Internet Explorer to troubleshoot the problem. I found that accessibility services might be the culprit. I do use Ease of Access to make my mouse more visible. However, when I go to that feature of PC Settings (I am using MS Windows 10 Home), there is no way that I can see to turn off the mouse services. The only thing I can do is select the first option in size and color. The Help/Troubleshooting item doesn't have a tab for Accessiblility, so no luck there. Anything you guys can do to help would be appreciated. Internet Explorer is way too clunky, Google Chrome is incomprehensible and MS Edge... Thanks.

For years firefox has just periodically broken. By this I mean that random sites and features just die and never come back until I delete firefox and reinstall. This is always frustrating because I can open chrome right up and copy/paste the url and it will work fine EVERY TIME. Now, I have always put int he effort to fix it because I like firefox more than chrome and I'm used to it and I dont want to get used to a different browser. That being said I'm done messing around with these issues.

The current one is regarding adobe flash, a truly crap program through and through. I am trying to use the webcam feature on google hangouts, but whenever I try it says I need to update to flash 10.1 or greater and that I should go get that. Well one problem, I have it.

Your Flash Version 29.0.0.113 Your browser name Firefox (NPAPI) Your Operating System (OS) Windows (Window 10)

I have installed the current version of flash so many times. I've restarted the browser, I've rebooted the computer, nothing helps. I'm so sick of firefox just randomly breaking every time it pushes an update. If there isnt a simple fix for this issue I think I'm going to move to chrome from now on.

Hello, I'm working with firefox 59.0.2 (64 bits) and trying to create a certificat with http://www.cacert.org. My certificate is correctly created and inserted in the firefox certificate database. I need to use this certificate with my private key in others software (Windows10, Chrome, Edge, Adobe Acrobat pro 9.5.5 and reader DC 18.2304,...) After export the certificate chains including the private, public and root keys PKCS#12 (.P12), I'm trying without success to import the certificate in windows10/certmgr because received a password error message. For information : Reimport the .P12 certificate into firefox certificate database correctly work. Import the .P12 certificate into Acrobat pro 9.5.5 correctly work and sign also work. openssl also work to convert .P12 file to pem then pem to .pfx resulting .pfx file then is correctly import to windows10/certmgr : This currently my only workaround solution.

openssl info on .P12 return :

===========

MAC:sha1 Iteration 1000000 PKCS7 Data Shrouded Keybag: pbeWithSHA1And3-KeyTripleDES-CBC, Iteration 1000000 PKCS7 Encrypted data: pbeWithSHA1And40BitRC2-CBC, Iteration 1000000 Certificate bag Certificate bag

openssl info on .Pfx return :

===========

MAC:sha1 Iteration 2048 PKCS7 Encrypted data: pbeWithSHA1And40BitRC2-CBC, Iteration 2048 Certificate bag Certificate bag PKCS7 Data Shrouded Keybag: pbeWithSHA1And3-KeyTripleDES-CBC, Iteration 2048

My questions : Why do I have to use openssl to convert my certificate to be able to import it to windows10/certmgr ? What is exactly firefox PKCS#12 export ciphers type ? Why Iteration = 1000000 for firefox export and 2048 for openssl output, could it be the culprit ? Is there other possible culprit ? (Order of openssl info out lines not the same) Is it possible to configure the firefox export to be compatible with windows10/certmgr ?

I recently got an email certificate online, and I am trying to export it from Firefox into Windows. I went to the certificate store in Firefox, exported it to my desktop in a PKCS12 file, and tried to open it in Windows, but Windows thinks the password I used is wrong. It doesn't matter what password I use, whether it's copied out of KeePass or a simple dictionary. Am I missing something?
