I never setup a master password, but it is turned on and I can't turn it off.
In "Settings" the "Use Master Password" is checked. If I click it to turn it off, it asks me for my Master Password. Since I never had a master password, I don't know it.… (funda kabanzi)

While using Firefox, the master password will pop up, and I have to click "Cancel". This is a real nuisance. I even tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, but the problem persists. I use Norton Identity Safe to manage my passwords and do not need the Master Password feature. Please help!
cannot change master password
I refreshed Firefox to help speed it up and now it won't let me access my saved passwords and when I try to turn on my Master Password it asks me to enter a new password.… (funda kabanzi)
I refreshed Firefox to help speed it up and now it won't let me access my saved passwords and when I try to turn on my Master Password it asks me to enter a new password. The 'current password' field won't let me type anything into it; so when I go to enter a new password, and submit, it tells me that it can't change my password.
Why does the master password window pop-up sometimes when no password at site, and sometimes keeps coming back no matter what I do, except shut off???
