1) Why in Firefox when a video is played in full screen the tab is moved to the right where sign + new tab, If there's many tabs in the left side 2) After updating to a new version, the speaker icon disappears on the tabs in which the audio or video was playing, it becomes visible only when you hover over it with the mouse pointer. this is very annoying

How can i customize Firefox with my own privacy-settings and save those settings for a new installation? Each time after installing Firefox i must go trough all the settings once again. To avoid this time consuming steps, is there a way to import all user-specific-settings for a new installation? The screenshot i attached below clearly shows IT IS POSSIBLE to pre-edit firefox settings for a new installation. Question remains, how can i do that?

For example i wish to always use those settings: (all set to false)

Hello Please HELP, I HATE updating but was forced to by another issue. Now I can't search in the Google window ...it moves to the address bar, where it resists amendments. How can I restore the old way please?

How do I apply the same highlighting shown by the red arrow to the text where grey and heavy blue is used for highlighting? I find css very convoluted and it's hard for me to know what ids/parameters to use to get the desired effects. Issue 1: When I open up the firefox settings, I cannot tell in the slightest what is and isn't checked off because nothing appears in the checkboxes. They're just empty squares regardless of whether something is checked off or not. I've attached a screenshot below.

Issue 2: I really, really hate the new proton tabs. I had them disabled by disabling proton, but I guess I forgot to disable auto-updates, because I just opened Firefox to find that they're back, much to my displeasure. It's difficult for me to distinguish tabs from each other at a glance now as they are all the same color with no borders *and* having 'autoplay disabled' and 'playing' and stuff like that in TINY all caps font below the tab label is NOT USEFUL. It is distracting to the eye, and I have to squint and lean closer to be able to read what the heck it's even saying. This is shitty for nearsighted people like me. Moreover, at a glance it is IMPOSSIBLE now to tell which tab sound is coming from. This is a huge step backwards in functionality and accessibility.

I wasn't using mozilla for aesthetics - I was using it because it functioned and was more stable / less of a memory hog in my experience than chrome, and I appreciated the ease and convenience of syncing across different computers as well as the built in password management. However, I question whether I can continue to use this browser if you're going to prioritize aesthetics over functionality and user preference.

Seriously - that the tabs DO NOT CONNECT to the page is itself distracting and weird, *but also* that the rest of the tabs blend together and have extra tiny unreadable text rather than the infinitely more distinguishable audio symbol that indicated which tabs had sound playing before is so terrible.

So.... tl;dr: HOW DO I GET OLD TABS BACK?

I have to keep reinstalling everything and losing most of my files in the process. I'm tired of trying to talk to Microsoft because they don't care. Is Windows going to be better or should I just get rid on my computer? I have lost all of my Architectural Specifications and closed down my business. Microsoft doesn't care and tells me to go someplace else if I don't like their Programs. I would someone to show me how to fix this mess.

I had been using the "Repair Text Encoding" button I put on the menu bar now it does not work. It is grey out. Help I need this. I use it when reading some email. Thank you Ron

firefox crashes after closing every time

These are extremely obnoxious, ruin my productivity and lower my quality of life. There must be a way to disable these? (of course Yahoo! doesn't offer one because it wants to make me click the tab and see their banners).
