4 more crashes today after 2 yesterday. will send the error messages upon request. I have reported this before. I thought it might have gotten better as only two crashes yesterday but today after around four got bonkers again. Please help me / Could it be I have an avast blocker for ads and such running. Could this be the problem? Got rid of a full time running Malwarebytes and updated as much as I could except for motherboard drivers which I can not do. Might just have to jump shop as this interferes with doing my Amazon Mturk work. Might have to join the evil empire and go to chrome of all else fails and really do not want to. Any further advice might help. This all started with the new updates about 8 or 9 days ago.

The default color purple for 'Visited links' is too close to the default blue for 'Unvisited links' and the difference is visible on my screen only at certain angles and certain intensities of ambient light. Changing the 'Visited links' color takes effect only when 'Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above' is set to 'Always'. But then the colors for 'Text', 'Background' and 'Unvisited links' are also changed, which results also in pictures not being shown. How can I change to color of 'Visited links' only, without changing anything else?

After opening and closing Firefox a few times, it spams volume manager instances. I've tried updating the browser, uninstalling it and reinstalling it however nothing seems to fix it. Below is a screenshot which helps to describe the issue I'm having.

I'm aware Firefox uses multiple processes but I think having this many volume manager controls seems like it's either a bug or un-neccessary.

Thanks in advance for reading this far.

On this forum, uploading an avatar is only possible if you have a Gravatar account. And to get a Gravatar account, you first have to have a WordPress account. As much as I appreciate Firefox, I find that ridiculous.

It could very well be that the SUMO people are not aware of the (added) WordPress condition. But could you then simplify the process by making direct avatar uploads possible? (What would be against that anyway?)

A pop-up from Mozilla said 'Mozilla Firefox Critical Error!' with a phone number to call (message said to call Microsoft support). I called the phone number, believed the representative, gave him remote access to my computer (over 1 hr.). Was told the were hacker files in my system and they installed new virus protection and disabled the virus protection I had on my system. Found out this is a ploy hackers use to steal info. Does Mozilla activate a pop-up warning as mentioned above? ... or have I been scammed?
