Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.

I updated my firefox to Version 143.0.4 (64-bit). (I am using Mac). I was trying to change my wallpaper, so I went to the pencil and customize part of the new tab, and when I look at the wallpaper thing, I just see that it says "Reset to default". I didn't see any of the things that said upload image or any of that. just reset to default. I really wanted to change my wallpaper, so is there something I'm missing or something?

Here is the site I desperately need to click around on. I can't access more than the homepage via Firefox (laptop), Safari (my laptop and iPhone) or Microsoft Edge (my husband's laptop). For the links on the page, I get an error message every time. And I have disarmed as many cautionary protections as possible. Yet other people seem to be able to use the site like a roller rink.

Ideas?

I did use yahoo email for long time but now I want to switch to g mail address for my own protection and will keep my home address and will use my personal information as is not further changes.

I have version 143.0.3 (aarch64), running on a 2020 M1 mac. I did an update recently but I still have all of my bookmarks, that's not the problem. The problem is, although the space for the bookmarks toolbar appears when I click "always show" (and disapears when I select "never show"), I see nothing. Nothing shows up in this space and so I have to go menu diving to get to my bookmarks. Do you have an idea how to fix this?

I cannot login into a website because they complain that I have an old version of PHP. Is that already included in Firefox? I am using Firefox Vers. 143.0.4 on a MacBook Air with MacOS Big Sur, Vers. 11.7.10 Shall I go to the PHP website and download PHP?

Anybody else notice that when using the back arrow on some sites, it just won't stop back-arrowing? I mean, usually, when you have reached the very first site opened in the current tab, the back-arrow will grey-out and become non-functional. But some sites are allowed to embed an instruction which causes Firefox to just keep on back-arrowing indefinitely, without EVER greying-out the back-arrow; it just keeps on re-loading the same initial web page. The yelp.com website is a good example of this behavior. Firefox should prevent sites from embedding functional-override coding which causes the browser to behave abnormally like this. Another functional-override example are websites that, DESPITE having a global Firefox browser setting to NOT auto-fill fields, the site causes Firefox TO REMEMBER the data anyway, and then to re-display the data at the credentials step as a pull-down menu underneath the Username field and, more often, the 2FA field. Haven't seen any site yet override the no-auto-fill setting for the Password field, however...luckily.

Hi It isn't really a question, but it get to know and learn how to use Firefox efficiently before I converted from Safari to Firefox. I knew much more in Safari than in Firefox. Once I know more about Firefox, Firefox will be a default browser in my desktop,mac. Thanks Ted

Hello! Why do I get all of the Tools Menu in english when I've chosen Norsk Bokmål as standard language for my use at sites/streaming etc. What is the purpose of selecting the desired language if the tool options are only displayed in English?

I did update my Mac to IOS 26.0.1 and I have lost all the history and bookmarks, I have the "Sync" enabled with my browser.

All my important data has been lost, can you please look into this and help me please.

Had a crash earlier on my macbook that required a restart. Everything else is fine but I have lost all history and bookmark data on my firefox browser. I tried going to see if i had the wrong profile and that was not the issue. I tired recovering the bookmarks in the manage boomarks option but there were no backup files.

I have some important bookmarks i need recovered. Any help would be highly appreciated.

After signing into Amazon with firefox 43.0.1 (64-bit) browser on my mackbook I am not able to click on anything in firefox. I have to quit firefox and restart it before I can do anything. The even happens in a private window. Safari has no problems.
