hi i have mental health difficulties and all the links to absolutely everything is gone no bookmarks no folders nothing on my desktop i have lost everything please help me recover these so many important bookmarks all missing help me get them back even if i have to go back to an older version of firefox this update happened itself please help me nothing in import restore in manage bookmarks see pic showing no bookmarks its empty please help me i am desperate my mobile number is u.k [edited phone# from public community support forum] please help me

Thanks to a Microsoft update my PC had to have Windows reinstalled causing me to lose all my apps. I have reinstalled Firefox on the PC but of course, all my bookmarks and passwords are missing. I had set up syncing between my PC and my Android mobile devices (phone and tablet). Can I restore or sync from the mobile device back to the PC? I have searched and found nothing. Even when signed into Firefox on the phone, it does not bring up "Sync" when I go to settings. I truly appreciate your help.

i was using firefox with multiple tabs for most of today, had to shut pc down to run errands. When i restarted pc, firefox would not start, i have it pinned on my task bar/start menu/whatever. I opened my system moniter to see what was going on when i tried to start firefox and the processes do not show up in the process list. I tried a reinstall with the ubuntu software store and no noticeable change in behavior. Not sure how to get into the profile section, the option for it with a right click on the firefox icon does nothing seemingly. Under normal operations i have seen two firefox processes listed.

How to change main domain is not automatically shown in the search of Firefox browser but the desired URL?

I have always typed "https://www.youtube.com/feed/you" in the URL bar both in firefox desktop and mobile and other Gecko-based browsers such as Zen, Floorp, Midori, Iceraven, Waterfox, Librewolf but dont know why it always shows up "https://www.youtube.com" as soon as I type "y".

I have not seen same behaviour in Chrome or Chromium-based browsers such as Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, as Chrome knows if I have visited "youtube domain" several times but not through "https://www.youtube.com/" but through "https://www.youtube.com/feed/you", then it shows me the latter, thus helps me in avoiding my few seconds of this bug or inconsistency.

Not limited to "https://www.youtube.com/" but to every other site such as Google.com or social media like Instagram, where I don't visit the homepage but my saved bookmarks page.

Can anybody clarify on this, if this is a bug or a gifted feature by Firefox devs?

And can we change this as this causes issues esp., for working people (I have recently shifted my Chrome data to a new Firefox profile so this is causing issues in working after MV3 drama) who visited direct URL not the one given or promoted or shown by browser. I dont like this and want to change it as it doesn't help me in anyways.

The most unfortunate thing is that we cannot cancel or reject or cut it out like Chrome does with "X" in the URL bar when it detects something which we dont know it to proceed with but Firefox, nah.

The biggest benefit is that it saves your time, helps you focus and avoid you waste your time, if the site has too many things to distract you from actual work. Like YouTube has great courses and podcast interviews and I have saved them and want to direct go there (https://www.youtube.com/feed/you), then I am saved from going to main page which has unwanted videos that will only take my time, losing my productivity. Is Firefox not concerned about our productivity, is Chrome only cares?

I can not reach Tractorsuppy.com from my firefox browser. I have used it with no issues for over a year. I am able to reach it if I use google browser. I get a message 502 Bad Gateway. Please help!

Is there a way to back up the tabs I have open? I tried a tab manager, I've forgotten it's name, a few years ago and it worked for a while then the folders I had started to come up empty. I e-mailed the owner but got no response and no help getting the lost tabs back. I am looking at Tree Style Tab but any other suggestions are welcome.

(sorry for my bad English) I delete and again install Firefox, and after this if I open tabs (Youtube, etc) and close browser, tabs doesn't restore and showing default 1 search tab Firefox. Setting to restore tabs enabled, but not working, lile a method with about:setting. I will be grateful for help.

It appears that Microsoft Stream's new screen recording feature from browser either doesn't work in Firefox, or Microsoft has blocked usage in Firefox. No attempt is made to gain browser screen-recording permissions for the site prior to the following error message appearing.

when opening o365 and open a PDF attachment that was fillable, I cannot view the filled in texts, unless i download the file and view with my default PDF viewer., even doing preview i cannot see the filled in portions of the document. I can view on Chrome and Edge and outlook app on my PC. I have attached a jpeg for your viewing, if you look at top part it shows what i get in Firefox, the bottom is with any other browser or office app. I am using windows 10 and the latest browser Firefox.

This latest version doesn't work properly, (unable to download videos), and i want to return to the earlier version but i don't remember what it was. How do i find out my previouse version? Only the supported mac versions are listed on the older versions download site. How can i access all firefox versions through 131,0? I have just had Windows 11 reinstalled on my Laptop, I synced everything over from my desktop but Setup VPN and Hoxx icons which would be with other add-ons are missing, I emailed both suppliers. I followed their instructions and found that both add-ons are enabled but no icons. I don't appear to have any overflow, no '>>' I tried uninstalling them but still no icons to enable me to use these.

Bookmarks dropdown menu opens up halfway down and it's not possible to scroll back up to the top and add a bookmark. At first I thought it was a mouse problem - changed mouse - problem remains.

There is a crash every time I open the browser. I tried the flatpack and system package and to no avail. WSJ.com is unusable on this browser. I've cleared cookies/site data, as well as disabled adblocker. Every other website works fine. Every other browser loads WSJ.com with no problem. But on Firefox with WSJ, the website loads very slowly, only ever partially, and sometimes not at all. This has been a perennial issue. Thank you.

Hello, I have 3 PCs. One is Windows 10, Firefox 131.0.3 One is Windows 10 firefox 131.0 One is windows 11 firefox 131.0.3

All 3 PCs are running BOINC, using the remaining CPU power up to 100%

On PC W10 + FF 131.0 and PC W11 + FF131.0.3 BOINC and FF share the processor time up to 100% On the PC W10 + FF 131.0.3 when FF is dispatched, no processor time is assigned to BOINC and CPU busy is no more 100%. This situation occurs frequently and can last several minutes.

I had to reinstall Firefox and now my Windows 11 24 H2 computer is constantly giving me this message in the notification area. I believe it is a scam message, I do not run McAfee. Here is just one of the messages I keep getting, another one will say "Your payment was rejected and I need to update payment to reactivate protection.
