I have been using credit card detail autofill for several years, using my Microsoft password. Suddenly, possibly since January 1st 2025, this feature doesn't work any more! The usual pop up asks me to choose a credit card; I do this and then enter my password and press Enter or Continue. After that nothing happens. The credit card number is not filled in for me and the same happens if I try to add the Expiry Date. Please can you see what may have changed either in my settings or elsewhere? Many thanks. After yesterdays update I always get "Tab crashed" when I want to start in a new tab when i try to open gmx.net or any other url. How to set back Firefox? I need to open Tabs! And "reopen" does not effect anything.

I've been using Firefox for many years with no problems. Recently, there have been frequent tab crashes. I've noted this problem before, and sent reports, but no fixes ever seem to be forthcoming. This makes me question whether I should continue using Firefox. The times I've switched to Edge, it hasn't crashed.

Firefox keeps locking up, for want of a better description. It will minimize itself, and when I go to click on it, it will not open/maximimize or let me use it. It then also won't allow itself to be closed (by using the only option available, the x on the taskbar icon). I end up having to restart my computer to get it to go away and then work properly (for a little while) when I restart. Firefox used to be my favorite browser, but I'm getting really frustrated. It's updated and still won't work properly. Help. Please.

I cannot open any web sites from the Mozilla Firefox on my computer. Every attempt gets the message :tab has crashed. Will I need to abandon using Firefox if this is an unfixable problem?

Hi My normally excellent Firefox on Windows 10 has suddenly become unworkable,with the "Gah Tab Crash" message now coming up almost constantly. I have tried opening the browser in safe mode but to no avail. Any suggestions to travellinbilly@gmail.com. Fingers crossed.

I have notebook no issues, My Desktop however I get tabs crashing with firefox, Apache Open Office but not with Doc files in open office and not with chrome and Edge they run without any issues. My computer is awsome it seems to me this version of firefox is either being pushed out or its not coping with large loads. I removed all of my 32gb ram tonight just to test the ram my ram is fine. Recent attempts to video call the same person I've been video calling for the past 3 years result in "your browser doesn't support video calls"

Have I been "hacked"?

Please explain.

Over the past few weeks, tabs keep crashing several times a day. It happens most often on X, but this morning, a tab crashed while completing an online order (grrr). My computer is up to date, cookies, cache and history cleared regularly and today I "refreshed" Firefox. In less than an hour, tab crashed again. What is going on???

I'm very close to changing browsers.

Since updating to version 135 all the tabs crash. I've uninstalled\reinstalled, deleted app data, disabled AV and created a new profile. The only time it works is in troubleshooting mode. I've looked at extensions and plugins and I'm only seeing OpenH264 video codec and Widevine content decryption. I've disabled those but still get the crashed tabs.

I'm also not generating any crash logs.

I uploaded some videos to my website (burchmusic.com). They can be played on Safari, but not on Firefox. This is the error message I get: No video with supported format and MIME type found. I'm on MacBookPro running OS Sequoia 15.2.

Firefox has been running smoothly for the last 6 months. Recently I started receiving Firefox Crash Reporter dialog boxes when opening the app. The app never opens, but I receive three crash reporter dialog boxes.

What I have tried: Repair Reinstall Deleted every Mozilla folder in App cache and other device locations. Did another reinstall. App never loads and I receive a crash report. Updated Windows. Restarted laptop. Etc. Everything else on the device runs perfectly.

I got this new Chromebook, and now I'm having issues using YouTube. When I select a video to watch, a message pops up at the top saying "To play video, you may need to install the required video codecs." I am able to watch the video I selected anyhow, with some minor issues with the picture and its frames I believe, however, when I try to watch a different video, it does not work. Sometimes it will play for a short bit, but will then stop, and start buffering. When I then refresh the page, the video will not play and will only buffer. I am not sure what to do, and if this is an issue with the browser, or the device itself, please help?

When I open firefox, or try to go to any page at all, all that I get is the tab crash reporter.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, including removing all old profiles. So I now have no extensions or add-ons enabled. I have disabled hardware acceleration.

firefox does run successfully in troubleshooting mode, so that must be doing something different. But I have not been able to make it run out of troubleshooting mode.

There is nothing in about:crashes, or in AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports

What could be going wrong?

My screen has been zoomed so I only see half of the email or image. Support at yahoo said that this is a Firefox issue. I would like to"unzoom" so I can see the full screen ar one time.

My GPU is the integrated GPU on the Intel U7-155H CPU. When some AVC videos are played, the browser reacts extremely slow and the video image is glitched and at a really low rate of frame, and the video decoding engine seemed to be 100% occupied as shown in the task manager (normal video playback never occupied so much of it). Seems like AV1 encoded video never triggered the problem. The problem doesn't always happen, but at a rather high frequency. This never happened before I updated the Intel graphics driver from 32.0.101.5972 to 32.0.101.6129. The problem seemed not to happen on other browsers such as Microsoft Edge.

Started using Netscape and been with Firefox ever since it started. For the last few months, I find that my Draytek 2866Lac router randomly crashes and resets itself when I am using Firefox. I cannot pin it down to opening any particular website but it seems to be related to opening a new tab / link. I have FF set to open new tab automatically and no extensions (other than British English) are in use. Using FF, I can seldom go more than 5 -6 hours between resets. Not using FF, I have now managed 2 days constant uptime on the router - which is a fantastic change! Is there something peculiar with my system and any ideas how I can get stability again please?
