recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost

As of today, this was the situation (image 1). I had to do a manual update.

Also, when I first visited here today, I was not logged in. I 'd like to stay logged in. Then, I couldn't have been here for more than 15 seconds, and this appeared. How can a session be expired when there was no session? Is this part of the reason I don't stay logged in?

When I try to use multiple desktops to arrange the opened windows, the window of Firefox is present in all of them, even the last one, which is usually totally empty (and when we drag a new window in it, a new empty desktop is created).

You can find attached screenshots of my three desktops, where Firefox appears (I blurred all info that could be sensitive, I hope I did not miss any !).

Is there a setting to unset this ?

NB: this is a duplicate of a post I made on askUbuntu, but it seems that this issue is more Firefox related than Ubuntu... And I did not manage to fix it with the answer provided there, so I'm trying my luck here !

NB2: oops, i just noticed that I inserted this question in the wrong topic (android), it seems that I cannot change that... I anyone see how to do it let me know !

Updated to FF 150 today on Win 11 desktop.

Q1: Can I remove Profiles from the FF toolbar which is located in between Bookmarks and Tools? Only need one profile on this PC. I tried to customize the toolbar but it won't let me drag Profiles off.

Q2: For some reason my FF profile is now on C: even though I had previously moved it to D: to free up space on C: boot drive.

So I created a new profile with exact same folder name on my D: drive today.

In Profile Manager, I renamed the old profile on C: to "name.old and the new one on D: to "name.new". I set name.new as the default profile and it works properly after exiting and restarting FF.

Now I want to delete the .old profile but FF won't left me, saying Can’t delete a profile that is linked to other profiles. There are only the .old and .new profiles listed. So how do I unlink .old so I can delete all of it to free up space on C: ?

At the last FF update, I discovered that I had VPN on my top status bar but what does it do?

I have v. 150.0.1 (64 bit). Also Windows 11. I live in France and the only reason to use a VPN is to watch a UK soap which I cannot watch by any other means unless it's live on the TV. I know how to turn it on (obvious), so when I use the BBC website, this is what I do. But it makes not the slightest bit of difference as I am still recognised as being outside the UK.

Am I not doing something please?

I am seeking assistance with recovering my Firefox data after resetting my laptop.

Before performing the reset, I verified that I was signed into my Firefox account and believed that Firefox Sync was enabled. After reinstalling Firefox and signing back into the same account, my previous data does not appear to be available.

I've DONE the following already- and it still doesn't work: If you're using Firefox In the Firefox menu bar, select the hamburger icon in the upper-right corner, and then select Settings.

Select Privacy & Security in the left panel.

Under Permissions, find Device apps and services, and select Settings.

In the settings window, use the dropdown menu next to the https://www.adobe.com to change permissions, and then select Save Changes.

Find Local network access under Permissions, and select Settings.

Use the dropdown menu next to https://www.adobe.com to change permissions, and then select Save Changes.

I have a Firefox/Mozilla account associated with one email address. That is my "original profile." When I try to create a new "personal" profile, and I try to log in with a different email address, it tells me that I have to log in using the primary email for my account. But I cannot do that, because I cannot be logged in to two profiles at the same time using the same account.

How can I create a different account for a different profile? I tried doing so, but it doesn't seem to allow me.

I had this trouble after Firefox's previous update, where the browser would just close as I was in a tab. It had stopped so I thought the problem was fixed. However, it just updated the browser a few days ago and again I'm having a problem where the browser will just close in the middle of me entering information. It does not have to do with which program I am in as it just seems to happen randomly. It does not save any information I've typed in.

My used name and password for Well Fargo online is saved on fire fox and I can not change it on the Wells Fargo system. They have tried to help me in there system but when I put in the new user name and password it goes back to ORIGINAL user name and password.

please tell me how to solve the problem in the one sentence i was asked to provide. i have tried syncing from both devices and have disconnected and reconnected to se if that helps, nope. i have no problem syncing bookmarks from desktop to android but the other way around is not working

it would be very helpful if you could add a box in passwords for notations, this way I could comment exactly what this password is for if I need to remember additional information or to add comments for myself regarding that particular site. would be very handy

Trying to install Firefox through ChromeOS Linux from the official Mozilla Page. I'm following all the steps, but the terminal is telling me that the key is missing and there is no PGP data available for it. If anybody could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. I attached a screenshot of the code when I try to install it.

I have cleared my cache but I still cannot access the open pages from the task bar. Some are trying to load but don't. They also don't shut down at once when I press the x command. Some pages are working OK.
