Master Password
I created a master password yesterday (7/15/20) forgot to write it down and now can't remember it. Is there a way to get out of this mess?

Logins and passwords are sorted alphabetically by the URL. I would like to be able to give the entry a name that makes it easier to find. For example, the Website for my bank is olb.xxxxx.com rather than the name of the institution. Other entries may be more obscure. I think Lockwise would be easier to use with this feature. I am trying to see if I can transition from a different password manager add-on. At this point, it was much easier to use the other add-on for both sites/passwords AND for bookmarks. Everything was in one place and I could apply names that made sense.
Thanks!

Hi,
yesterday I logged into my Firefox account from my dad's desktop. Now, all my saved passwords keep on appearing there although I am logged off there and disconnected that desktop from Sync. I don't even need a master password to see all my stored passwords.
How can I remove my stored passwords from his Firefox?
Many thanks, cem

I needed access to my passwords, but wasn't close to my PC so I signed into a firefox browser on a friend's PC, used my personal passwords (from the new lockwise thing) and then, logically, disconnected my firefox account agreeing to both tick-boxes for all my personal details to be deleted from the browser...ONLY TO FIND 5 minutes later that my LOCKWISE passwords where still present on the browser, with my account disconnected, but fully usable and accessible!
Now I'm scared of deleting all my passwords from the foreign-to-me PC (although I have my account disconnected) in case my passwords get deleted from my normal lockwise list...!! I can't leave these passwords on this PC though...
Am I missing something??? Thanks kind people!
I'm trying to delete every login that Firefox has stored but this option no longer seems to be available? Ctrl-A just highlights the logo.

The title is the short version of the question; here is the background.
Sync seemed a fairly good idea so I signed up to it recently, but what I was disturbed to realise was that I had accidentally allowed Mozilla to store more than 200 of my passwords on their cloud servers without realising it.
I have a password management solution that I have been using for some fifteen years and I know what I am doing. I had allowed Firefox to store my passwords locally on my PC in the knowledge that the PC would have to be compromised and the encrypted passwords would have to be cracked to be of any use.
So here's the problem; I am totally adversed to storing all of my logons and passwords in one place on the Internet with no control whatsoever as to how or where they are stored.
I'm alarmed to see so little information about the storage of this highly sensitive Personal Data, specifically with regards to steps taken to secure it when it is such a honeypot for hackers. I understand that every precaution will be taken to protect this data but things go wrong so often with regards to data breaches that it's just not something that anyone should consider lightly. Handing over this level of responsibility to a third part (Mozilla) to protect every aspect of ones modern life is not advisable.
What seems to have happened here is that Mozilla is so excited to get their trusted new features out to the user that they have forgotten to gain the trust of their users first by obtaining Explicit and Informed Consent to provide this functionality.
So back to my question, how do I DELETE ALL of my Synced Logins & Passwords and how do I know that you have deleted them?
Many thanks.

The X-notifier extension configured loings/passwords appear on the app version of Firefox Lockwise on Android and iOS. Unfortunately, they do not appear on desktop version of Firefox when going to the about:logins page. On the app, they appear under something like:
chrome://xnotifier/accounts/<service>
<user-id>
For example: chrome://xnotifier/accounts/gmail
my-gmail-account
I cannot find them at all in about:logins. Other than adding them by hand, is there anyway to make the app version sync so that it appears on the desktop?
Thanks!

I have installed an extension (mega.nz) on different PCs. On every PC, the extension has a different URL based on its unique ID, such as moz-extension://x4y901z4-t111-99x5-y321-xyz000z11909/mega/secure.html
But this URL is different on each PC.....
So Lockwise works fine on one PC (the one where the password was saved from), but on the other PCs it doesn't recognize the URLs and doesn't fill the account data in the login form.
Is it possible to modify the URL saved in Lockwise to match the scheme "moz-extension" ? any other workaround ?
thanks

Everything I have read regarding Monitor and Lockwise suggests that account breach notifications are going to rely on whether passwords were included in the breach and whether the user has changed that password since the date of the breach. But is Lockwise (or Monitor) ever going to use the HIBP's Pwned Password API?

Once I am signed in to Firefox Lockwise via "Logins and Passwords" I often want to sign out while I am browsing but not accessing my web accounts. Being signed in to FL, anyone who accessed my open Firefox browser--physically or virtually-- could access my password data. All insights and advice on this would be very welcome. Thank you.

I'd like to know if it's possible to save information in Lockwise besides usernames and passwords, mainly PINs and security codes. There are some PINs I want to keep track of that aren't connected to a website or an app, so I'd like to know if it's possible to store those in Lockwise somehow, too.
I'd also like to know about secure methods for storing essential passwords, PINs, and security codes offline, as a back up just in case. If I'm going to write information like this down, is there a good way to decide on a hiding place that I won't forget about but which wouldn't be obvious to anyone else? Bearing in mind I don't have a great memory. I realize this is a separate question and potentially rather broad, and it's beyond the topic of Lockwise itself - where is a good place to learn about keeping information secure (beyond using Firefox plus extensions, a password manager, duckduckgo)?
Lockwise will not save a complete site login URL, for instance: https://www.nextdoor.com/login/

I have a bunch of accounts which I haven't previously saved using Lockwise, but I want to now. Is there a way to autofill new passwords when I change the passwords of the accounts, and save the logins to Lockwise?
For example, say I have a Twitter account with password abcde and the login is not yet saved to Firefox, I want to be able to click on "change password" and change my password and save this new password (an auto-fill one if possible) to Lockwise.
