The X-notifier extension configured loings/passwords appear on the app version of Firefox Lockwise on Android and iOS. Unfortunately, they do not appear on desktop version of Firefox when going to the about:logins page. On the app, they appear under something like:

chrome://xnotifier/accounts/<service>

<user-id>

For example: chrome://xnotifier/accounts/gmail

my-gmail-account

I cannot find them at all in about:logins. Other than adding them by hand, is there anyway to make the app version sync so that it appears on the desktop?

Thanks!

Whenever I try to add email for Eventbrite username FF will not remember it. Have tried manually creating a new Login using Lockwise. However as soon as I enter the full URL it shortens it back to the root. And as such will not store the email string. Pretty frustrating. Have tried deleting all the other email addresses that are available in this field from historic autofill. No joy

Any thoughts?

Hello, All of my saved logins and passwords disappeared just two days before. When I open the firefox>xxx.default directory, I could see logins.json.corrupt and logins.json-1.corrupt.

If you could please let me know how to recover my logins and passwords, I would highly appreciate it.

I had Firefox on my Mobile Phone. i linked it to my account. Firefox started acting up, it wouldn't close and kept running in the background when it did close. So, i uninstalled it. i was going to reinstall it the next day.

While on my PC i noticed my usernames and passwords weren't showing up on log-in pages. I checked in Firefox logins & passwords, there is nothing there. I had thousands of usernames and passwords stored there.

Why were they deleted when i uninstalled Firefox Android app? Is there anyway to get them back?

Thanks

I would like to enter my passwords by myself. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove the tick in the prefferences. It is grey, sorry the screenshot is in german. Zugangangsdaten means log in

why is it light grey? I can not deinstall lockwise, I can not suppress storing data! I don't want that any of my datas are stored... I use the private browser tab at default.

Thanx for support Oliver

Hello,

it would be very nice, when I could sort Firefox Lockwise entries by user name. A lot of websites are using email addresses as user name. So it would be helpful in context with Firefox Monitor to check my compromised accounts.

Best regards,

Thomas

I do not know what is the procedure Lockwise uses for generating passwords, but I find quite odd that, coming twice on the same website, the password generator suggests me two identical "random" passwords.

Concretely, I have two Twitter accounts (with both my pair of login/password saved in Lockwise), and I decided to change those passwords with more robust randomly generated passwords. When I change the password of my first account, I ask for a random password ; I repeat the process with my second account, and get proposed the very *same* password. I precise that I observed this on other websites than Twitter.

I feel like this should not happen, and seems a huge security breach. Could it be that the seed used by the generator relies only on the website name...?

I have installed an extension (mega.nz) on different PCs. On every PC, the extension has a different URL based on its unique ID, such as moz-extension://x4y901z4-t111-99x5-y321-xyz000z11909/mega/secure.html

But this URL is different on each PC.....

So Lockwise works fine on one PC (the one where the password was saved from), but on the other PCs it doesn't recognize the URLs and doesn't fill the account data in the login form.

Is it possible to modify the URL saved in Lockwise to match the scheme "moz-extension" ? any other workaround ?

thanks

open Firefox >> go to login and passwords section >> you will see new lockwise view.

In this view you will get all of your saved passwords with asterisk '****' (banks, email IDs etc). Now don't enter the master password even if you are prompted to do so. select any site for which you want to look up the password for. then open inspect element and search for password field( there will appear 15 searches. go to seventh search) change the type "password" to "text"

here you have cracked the saved password without even entering master password.

Hence it is the biggest blunder of firefox

But is Lockwise (or Monitor) ever going to use the HIBP's Pwned Password API?
