Hi,

just downloaded the latest Policy Templates in Version 7.7 and installed them in our Central Policy Store. I went through all the settings but cannot find a configuration allowing us to block downloads of eg. executable files .

Even safebrowsing is not included to configure.

Any ideas?

I got a message in my add-ons that an Extension called VNNet was disabled I was not able to get a quick screenshot of it, but I dont recall installing an extension like that

I play a game on Facebook - and i go to it from a link in my email - but today it says your browser does not support WebGL - this happened a month ago but I forget how it got fixed. :-(

it worked yesterday - and I checked for Firefox updates and it is up to date. last time this happened - I did read an article online that suggested to go to put about:support in the address window and under General it said to uncheck standard performance and to click on "use accelerated performance" - that fixed it.

This time when I go to about:support - "Use Hardware acceleration when available" is already checked. How do I fix it this time? and why does this keep happening every so often?

Hello-

   Just today I received this error code when trying to sync with my Outlook account in TB. It tells me that anything under v.16.1 will not work. In the account settings it only allows me to choose from v.2.5 & 14, no 16. How do I update to ver.16?

All my saved mails in my local archives dissappeared about one week ago, probably in connection with a system update of my Thunderbird mail box. These mails are important for me. How do I do to get them back? Best regards, Monica Biander

ello. My favorites have disappeared from my Windows 11 PC. It has happened once before and then I was able to get them back by deleting the sqlite file, now it doesn't work and I need your help with ending firefox processes etc.

A few days ago I started getting a failed sign in for one of my emails. The solution seems to be that my authentication method in ≡ > Account Settings > Server Settings does not give OAuth2 as a choice. Screenshot shows what is available. All other email authentication methods have that as a choice. Is this a problem with the email program or T'bird? T'bird is 140.8.1esr (64-bit) O/S is Win11 Thanks for your help

I have 4 email accounts with Thunderbird. When a message comes in it is posted on ALL of the accounts. What am I doing wrong? if i use the search function thunderbird find nothing although hundrets of the searched mails available are.

example i got 100 Mails from insurance Allianz Direct if i put allianz in the dialog Thunderbird find nothing i tried it via strg shift F it is the same

what shell i do?

I have been using Thunderbird with two POP3 Hotmail accounts for some time and I am trying to set up a third account with exactly the same configuration. However, both the automatic and the manual configurations failed. The new account receives mail, but the outgoing smtp server config seems to have a problem. Sending messages times out or keeps prompting for a new password.

The Hotmail account has POP3 and IMAP enabled. Thunderbird is set to receive all cookies. I cleared history and cache after every attempt and also temporarily disabled the firewall.

Any suggestions about what the problem could be?

Hi everyone,

I do a lot of downloading images in bulk for my neocities website and its really helpful for me to be bale to drag an image from say, tumblr, to my neocities tab and just drop it into the download box. I love Firefox but I couldn't find a way to use this feature, so I downloaded the QuickDrag WE extension, which allows me to drag and drop images from duckduckgo images, but not tumblr.

(for info I'm using Windows 11)
