I have been struggling to find some messages specific to specific dates and spend an awful amount of time tryomh yo access the correct one.

The solution proposed is a bit unclear to me, as it refers to "future folders". I need to unthread all my messages. Is this possible?

PS The only version number i could find was for Firefox. There does not seem to be one for Thunderbird.

i want to activate the build in VPN but it says i need to sign in. so i do that. then it says i need to click on it and it sends me back to the sing in and tells me to do it again...

When starting thunderbird, the program cannot find my e-mails and does not respond. It is frozen. deinstallation and new installation did not help. The version i do not know because I cannot open the menue.

We have a intranet site that works in Edge and Chrome without issues with the site added to "internet options". But for some reason we are getting 401 Unauthorized when trying to access it from Firefox. I have tried adding the urls to: network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies: true network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-non-fqdn: true network.auth.force-generic-ntlm: false network.auth.force-generic-ntlm-v1: false

Ingocnito mode , same error. I have tried disabling all plugins. Disabled DNS over HTTPS.

I paid for an annual subscription of Mozilla's VPN on 9/8/26. However, when I try to run the VPN, it is telling me I have to wait for the monthly trial (which I had previously to reset). My invoice is 98Z6LFXQ-0001. Also, when I printed a receipt of my purchase, I noticed my zip code is incorrect. My zip code is 11224 (not 11229). I saw that it could possibly take up to four days for my purchase to be reflected, but I wanted to get ahead of this potential problem ASAP. Thank you! This is a followup to a previous post. I pinned a tab in firefox, and later deleted the webpage that was pinnned. I do not see a way to edit the pin, so I deleted it and created a new one with the new, updated webpage. I use the sync feature to keep all of my browser settings the same across three computers. I have tried multiple approaches to correct the problem. 1. turned off the sync and manually unpinned the tab, cleared the cache and browser history, checked to be sure I do not have the option to reload previous tabs turned on, booted in the mode that does not load any plugins, rebooted the computers 2. with sync turned off, after all of those steps, I opened the new page and pinned it on each computer. when I close the browser and reopen it on any computer, the original pinned tab returns. Turning the sync back on or re-enabling the option to sync tabs and history have no effect.

Is there a way, even if it´s within the configuration files, to change that pinned tab or block the old one from opening? Note that the website for the old and the new pinned tab is the same. the difference is the page itself. the old tab was [website].administration-landing. the new page is [website].admin-lp.

The is no reason why the old page, which no longer exists, continues to be pinned in the browser, but I can´t get rid of it.

I keep getting authentication failure while connecting to server for different accounts every time I start thunderbird. It's usually just one and sometimes 2 accounts that fail. When I click on the individual accounts they start working just fine. I get this for yahoo, gmail, outlook and a couple of others. Something to do with the initial start of thunderbird I think.

Aloha. I'm helping a friend with setting up a new Windows 11 PC, and cannot get Thunderbird to connect to Spectrum's servers. I spent an hour on the phone with Spectrum support and they just gave up and said it must be an issue with Thunderbird. Here are the details:

- Brand new Dell 24 All-in-One EC24250 - Windows 11 25H2 plus all additional fixes. - All Dell drivers updated. - Thunderbird V155.0 64-bit

If I click on 'Get Messages' after a while I get: "Connection to server mail.twc.com timed out". I've gone into the config editor and changed mailnews.tcptimeout from 100 to 500 and still get the error.

In the Account Settings | Server Settings | Test server connection I get: An error occurred connecting to mail.twc.com:993.

I've tried this with both setting up a brand new account in Thunderbird, and also via copying the 'Thunderbird' folder from %appdata%\roaming from her old machine.

Email configuration (from Spectrum).

IMAP Settings Server name: mail.twc.com Port: 993 user name: abcd@hawaii.rr.com Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication method: Normal password

SMTP settings Server Name: mail.twc.com Port 587 Connection Security: STARTTLS Authentication method: Normal password

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this scenario?

This morning Thunderbird asked me to update which I duly did. Once done all messages started disappearing from inbox. Eventually I found them and moved them back to inbox only for it to happen again

Have now tried 3 times, same result, every single email from Inbox keeps being moved to deleted in Local Folders

All new emails that have come in since appear for a micro second in Inbox before being moved to Deleted

This is obviously not a great situation to put it mildly and as it has never happened before and started straight after this morning's update I can only assume that the update is to blame

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Seemingly any program that has links that when clicked there, redirect and open a new tab in your browser just, do nothing now that I've swapped to Firefox? No indication or response on Firefox, it just acts like nothing happened. I don't even know why something this simple would break, let alone what WOULD break it.

When I open Thunderbird it is sending my emails directly to the deleted folder. I have tried all-sorts and cannot find an answer. I transferred Thunderbird to my new PC and all was working okay for a few weeks then all of a sudden there were emails missing from my inboxes and I found them in the deleted folder. I am 76 years old and need an easy step by step solution please ..... John

The last message in my inbox was on 9/3/2027. After an update, now all messages are now going into a different folder, which has only one rule, and that is all messages from a specific email address. Just now, all messages from my inbox just emptied into a different folder. I don't know what happened with Message Filtering in the latest update, but I have to turn off filtering.

This problem happened after the September update. No changes to any message filters. I am not the only one having this problem. What changed in the update that could have caused this problem? I have had to delete the problem account from Thunderbird because every time I move the messages back to the Inbox in Outlook, Thunderbird would move them back to Delete.

Logged into Thunderbird this morning. On current version. Noticed that the local trash folder had emails in it. I have not changed any of the multiple account setting. Send some test emails fro 2 accounts and they ended up in the local folder trash. What has happened. I want this redirection to stop. What other demons have been created by the current update. HOW CAN i fix this problem?
