when I try to open a particular website, firefox keeps blocking it and says its an error. I cannot open this website. how do i get passed this.

I have been having problems getting access to sites. I keep getting 502 Bad Gateway Certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate. What can I do? For example, I have been trying to access EFTPS to schedule payments or IRS and get same message. What should I do?

I noticed Firefox sometimes gives extra warnings when using payment gateways on healthcare service websites. Is Firefox stricter with SSL certificates than other browsers? For instance, visit here visit here

Whenever I try to open Github specifically I get:

I spent time looking into this, used a new IP address and tried updating the certificate for github, however I'm not particularly skilled when it comes to this, so any assistance would be much appreciated.

There are no other sites in which I have this problem with FF x64 DE. In Edge, I see the newsmax pages load while the FF x64 DE https//newsmax.com xontinues to genberate the above message and fails to load the screen.

I just I just updated to the latest version of Firefox for Android. When I tried to look for extensions, I got the error message: "This website requires a secure connection." That seems rather odd. I did this because my wife needs to register for access to the Social Security website using something called LOGIN.GOV. Quite a few government websites are using it when security is needed. But I got the same message when I tried to access LOGIN.GOV. We have a deadline for getting this done, so I guess we will have to follow the LOGIN.GOV people's suggestion and use Chrome.

By the way, I can't remember a website as confusing and incomplete as LOGIN.GOV. The Social Security website offers an alternative to LOGIN.GOV called ID.ME, I think that it started as a way for ex-military folks to get access to PX discount prices. When I signed up for it some time ago, I didn't think it was a model of clarity either.

Firefox automatically updated on my old Mac (OS 10.15.7). Since then every website I try to access gives a "Security connection failed" - Amazon, Google, even Firefox support. What the heck has happened. This browser is useless now.

I am getting a Secure Connection Failed error on every webpage I try to visit. Even if a page manages to load it will revert back to the Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR if I refresh. Other browsers are working fine. I tried troubleshoot mode and it's the same. I tried uninstall/reinstall, desktop restart and still the same. I haven't changed any settings on my mac.
