Instead why cant all my security be based on either facial recognition or fingerbprints ?? Because If i cant remember my password then chances are i wont be able to remember the recovery info too so i am still stuck

Somehow, I was logged out of Firefox on my PC laptop. I forgot my password, so I changed it. I received a confirmation that it was changed. I can sign in on my Android phone using the new password, but when I try to do it on my laptop, I am told that it's an invalid password. I tried many times with no success.
