I created an account to use on my Linux machines. From the start I have had nothing but issues. The very first password I setup and immediately had the browser save wouldn't work an hour later. Still signed in on the original machine I had setup the account on but got an incorrect password error when attempting to login on another machine. I know the password was correct. Regardless I changed the password thinking it might fix the problem. It didn't. I just got signed out of the first machine. After some fighting I got a password to work and was able to get signed in on all 3 machines. Attempting to sign in on a fourth machine I get the incorrect password error. Go to my account from one of the machines that is currently signed in and verify it is the correct password. Decided to change password again to see if that works as it did previously. You have to enter the old password to set a new one. It says the password is incorrect. I was able to login on my phone using the Google account login option. Please help.

Overnight, while computer was sleeping, Thunderbird appears to have forgotten the email password. A dialog box pops up when checking email "login to server pop.centurylink.net with username {correct email address displayed} failed." With options retry, enter new password, and cancel available. Retry simply loops back to this error. Entering the (verified) correct password has no positive impact at all. Program and computer rebooted, no change. Windows 11 Pro. Password was not recently changed.

Hi! I can't log into my Thunderbird account. It won't accept the password, and before it locked me out altogether, no emails were showing in my inbox.

I HAVE HAD AN EMAIL FOR EVER. MY LAPTOP CRASHED AND I CAN NOT GET THUNDERBIRD TO EXCEPT MY PASSWORD MY MOST IMPORTANT E-MAIL [edited from public forum] @GMAIL.COM I HAVE TRYED EVERYTING, TRYED TO CONTACT GOOGLE. I THINK THEY STOL MY E-MAIL. MY PASSWOR JUST WILL NOT BE EXCEPTER?? PLEASE HELP!

Díky za odpověď, Bohužel systém mi nedovolí zaznamenat hesla jednotlivých účtu, pro zobrazení vyžaduje hlavní heslo. Existuje postup pro změnu hl. hesla, bez jeho znalosti. Díky za odpověď. Mielec
