I lost all my personal data on Firefox as soon as I changed the password and I did not know that you can lose everything that I had registered in the download box and the previous archive. Now I am very, very mentally disturbed and I do not feel safe and I am very sad about what happened to me. I am crying now. What should I do? My psyche is really broken due to the lack of information....

Firefox on my mac has been acting buggy lately. The last time I quit and reopened it, all of my windows and tabs were gone. there is no restore previous session available and the recently closed tabs and windows options are grayed out. How can I restore?

I accidentally refreshed Firefox when I was having problems and didn't realize Refresh meant wiping everything clean. I found another thread about this, but it's 8 years old and things have changed. How do I use the "Old Firefox" folder on my desktop to restore all my bookmarks, history, etc.?

I asked a question about a week ago. I can't even see the question anymore. While this was going on I received these emails. All times are in Australian CST.

I am as much a believer in security as the next person but I don't understand what is going on,

I have had no response to my original ticket, which I beleive was number 305857 which I can no longer find any refernce to in my account, and I still have a completely blank Library! and I can't even make any new bookmarks!

Hi, Today 8-7-25 Mozilla automatically upgraded to version 141.0.3. Now all of my bookmarks are gone. I can't find them on my pc. There are two profiles listed in the profile section. Neither seem to have my bookmarks. I have a lot of bookmarks and some are very needed. Please help me recover all of my bookmarks. Thank you, Geo

Firefuxxed was refusing to open new tabs so I shut it down and restarted it (always fixes it) and all my pinned and open tabs were gone with no way to recover them, it took me half an hour to manually restore the pinned ones one by one but not all of them as I cannot remember all of them let alone all the open tabs I had (hours of research gone down the toilet).

There should be a way to backup and restore pinned and open tabs so this doesn't happen, the history option does nothing.

OS: Linux Mint 22 fresh install from a week ago Previous version of Firefuxxed updated after this shamossel.

Since yesterday, I suddenly had to recreate my Firefox account, which I have used for a long time. For no apparent reason, my email was not recognized as an existing account when I tried to synchronize my browser. As a result, I created a new account using the same email address. Consequently, all my email masks have disappeared from relay.firefox.com. Is there any way to recover those masks?

There are times that when I open firefox that some of my tabs that does this weird thing where my tabs from the previous session that I left doesn't load up, from what I see is a blank tab that doesn't access the sites I left. It's been twice since I encountered this and I can't replicate the issue. When it happens I try checking out the recently closed tabs or window it doesn't show the ones that didn't show up.

Absolutely furious. My bookmarks have completely disappeared and none of your suggested 'articles' is any help at all. I certainly won't be using Mozilla any more if you can't tell me how to rectify this.

version 141.0.3 on a 2019 iMac 11.7.10 ... when this version was downloaded, bookmarks and history disappeared. Is there a way to recover or do I have to begin from scratch ?

I'm not sure whether i am in the correct forum. I have successfully copied to a USB stick the bookmarks from my old PC but, although I can open the html file and see them, I cannot see how to present them in the bookmarks menu. I am not recognising a simple "import" option such as I found with passwords. What am I missing

For some reason all of a sudden my bookmarks don't show their identification icons that are associated with that web site. Those icons are to the immediate left of the site address. I used to use those colored icons as a quick reference to select the web site I wanted. Being I have MANY bookmarks, those icons to the left were a GREAT help to locating a specific bookmark.

   I could locate a bookmark by the web site icon that is shown to the left of the site address. Now that icon just shows a non colored ball with globe in it.
  Is there a way to show a earlier date of my bookmarks? Maybe that way I could see the old bookmark menu the way it used to be shown when I accessed my bookmark menu?

Rebuilt my computer, restored Bookmarks from 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' but the original 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar') is now empty and has been moved to the bottom of all my other bookmarks in a new 'Other Bookmarks' folder. How do I get the contents back in the 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar'). P.S. I have a backed up 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.json' as well as a ' bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' available, if that would help. Regards and Best, NP_145
