It used to be obvious and simple to save an article for future reference in Pocket. I do not see how to do this now. Please advise.

I just discovered that Pocket is gone, and I got no notice that it was going away. I've searched the articles on how to export the contents, but they just send me into a circle of links with no useful instructions. Since the Pocket icon is no longer there, I have no way to get into it. I really need to recover those sites because I saved them for a reason but don't remember their URL's.
Firefox for Android has a collection feature, which allows the user to save pages to read later. I hope this feature could be available on Firefox desktop.

I've tried to enable the Reading List sidebar on the desktop version via about:config, but I can't seem to find the sidebar.
