Evil Corp (aka Microsoft) updated my Windows 11 PC from 24H2 to 25H2 and now I cannot access quite a few websites (i.e. Amazon, Bank!, etc.) and some take a long time to load (surprisingly, my Firefox Home page...Google...also takes a while to load) . I searched the internet and found many so called fixes and most are very complicated and many contradict others. A lot of them say to disable DNS and reset network stack (using the command prompt) which I do not know how to do even though I worked in the tech business for 40 yrs (mainly data networking)...I retired 20 yrs ago...so I'm old...so I'm not as savvy with computers as I used to be. I tried changing a few Firefox settings, but nothing worked, so I changed them back to the original settings that worked before the update. If someone could give me detailed (and hopefully simple) instructions to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm am in a bind, so a timely response would be great. At startup of Thunderbird, get error related to Outlook which I do not use. Get message - "UserHasNoMailboxandNoLicenseAssignedError"

How do I get rid of this error, has been present since last esr release and expected it to go away with new release - did not. Do I have to reinstall Thunderbird to clear.

Today in two of my accounts I get error message "Unable to open the summary file for Inbox on imapML. Perhaps there was an error on disk, or the full path is too long." Two other accounts work fine so no error on disk, and full path hasn't changed.

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

Hi, everyone,

I have a strange problem with my TB installation - when I go to repair a folder through it's properies settings, TB deletes BOTH the message (mbox) file and the index (msf) file. There is nothing wrong with either (the folder is fine) - I'm just testing out TB's functionality as I'm moving to it.

The settings are set to always download everything and always keep everything. It's TB version 143. The reason I know the files get deleted is - if I disconnect the Internet connection and click Repair Folder, then go into the profile directory, the mbox file is just gone, while the .msf is sitting at 0Kb waiting for the connection to re-establish. Only the connection is back, TB re-downloads both the index and then ALL the messages in the account...! This is, obviously, highly problematic.

My question is two-fold: - is the expected behavior of the "Repair Folder" button to work offline? Should folder repair be possible even in offline mode? - has anyone else encountered this? I reported this on Bugzilla, along with another fellow who has encountered the same: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1997845 But it appears the developers have a hard time believing it's actually happening...

Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. The worst example is Synchrony Bank, which runs several credit cards I use. You may contact me by email at [email removed]@att.net (put FIREFOX PROBLEM in the title so I don't miss it).

I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

When I try to load "Comments" I get this message:

Failed loading comments! Please try again...

Trying again doesn't help.

I am not able to receive mail from a user sending me mail from a gmail.com account. I have communicated with my ISP Optonline.net and they state the there mail process "checks out" and the issue could be the browser I am using, Firefox. The last email I have from a gmail.com sender was 8/28/2025. I have asked two different gmail users the send me mail and have not received any of them. I have cleared the Firefox cache but that did not correct the issue. I come to you to figure this issue out and hopefully solve it. Near Firefox. Why does Firefox's built-in translator always write “Near” in front of all opening sentences? It's very annoying to look at. Have you considered using AI? DeepL is great for translating. It translates not only the words, but also the culture.

I have Thunderbird Android and it changed to Apple when we bought Apple TV and now we cannot send. Were forced to use crap Webmail. Youtube just does not run well on the firefox browser, I have had this issue on my pc, as well as my laptop. Twitch, piracy streaming sites, 9anime all work fine this problem with loading and buffering is exclusive to youtube. I have tried resetting my firefox settings, changing the values for load times and resource usage in about:config and none of these have fixed my youtube.I have tried multiple fixes I've been recommenced by online forms. I have switched my user agent to make youtube think I am using chrome, I have disabled and removed all of my extensions including ublock origin, and loading youtube remains painfully slow. In fact, disabling adblock makes the load times even slower.

Also responding to my post with "hmmm durrr it works just fine for me" does not help anybody, stfu.

Whenever I want to print an email the print preview doesn't show, it keeps displaying a spinning wheel. Printing also doesn't work (as in, I press Save, enter a filename and press Save; the dialog closes but no file is generated).

I already tried the Troubleshooting information -> Clear saved print settings, but to no avail.

For the past few days, I haven't been able to use Google Lens for searches. Why? It used to work, and I haven't changed anything on my computer.

I read the support article about this problem: everything seems fine, Google is definitely my search engine... Can you tell me what I need to do to get it working again? Thank you

Am getting this message along with a recurring download of a specific email (keeps coming back even after deletion) that does not allow any other new messages to be downloaded. I do see new emails on my phone but will not read into Thunderbird??

Error: "Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox."

Tried: Troubleshooting, closing Thunberbird and reopening, rebooting windows system, compacting, etc. to no avail....
