I don't know how, but I now have two Sent folders - one in the "normal" TB folders and the second called Sent Mail under a Gmail folder.

When I send an email, copies are saved in both the Sent and Sent Mail folders. If I delete an email in one of these folders, then that email is deleted in both folders.

I would like to eliminate one of these Sent folders without losing emails that have been sent. The reason is this may take up server room in my linked email account.

The second thing is that I would like to get back to the "normal" TB folders and not have this additional gmail folder.

Hello. I am using Thunderbird Portable Edition 78.5.0 on PortableApps platform 17.1.1. I have many (over 70) folders, most of which are populated by filters which are enabled to run automatically. In the past, folders which had new messages were shown by a change of colour together with an asterisk. More recently, this is just shown by the colour of the folder name changing from black to blue; this is not always easy to spot, especially since my eyes are not what they were. However, a more worrying problem has arisen in recent weeks. The indication of a new message disappears before I open the folder; the folder name changes back to black, implying that there are no new messages in that folder. This seems to be random, or at least I have not been able to discern any pattern. In addition, sometimes newly-arrived messages are no longer indicated by an asterisk; this also appears to be random, and seems to be in folders that do indicate a new message as well as those that don't. Now, I am having to go through every folder to check there are no new messages, which is obviously inconvenient at the least. I had hoped that all the recent updates might have solved the issue, but they haven't. I would be grateful for any help in overcoming this problem. Cheers.

Maybe I am more than confused. Maybe I am completely lost. Yes, my own stupidity might be a major factor for this confusion I am guilty of!

My print preview is no longer available, and the new one is too small to see what's on the page. It's useless! Also, simplify page is gone (I understand "Reader View") is the work-around. Also, it's many extra clicks to get to my system print controls to print properly.

Solving the print preview too small would go a long way towards keeping Firefox usable. The other things could certainly use fixing, however.

Hello, I have a problem with my mailbox Thunderbird. for a few days I have had two folders instead of one for "drafts" and same problem for "sent". I cannot delete any of the folders and I cannot move one into the other.

I think I see why there is such a problem : when I click to get the properties of each folder, they are identical except for the location.

for example for the "Draft" folders I get : 1- location : imap://donald.schleich%40orange.fr/INBOX/drafts (for one of the two folders) 2- location : imap://donald.schleich%40orange.fr/INBOX/DRAFT (for the other one) see the attached document I cannot modify that. The folder which is active is the number one. I have a similar problem with the folder "Sent", except in one of the folder, old messages sent are stored and in the other I get the newest ones. New to TB. When I login to my account my emails (read) remaining in the inbox from the previous day have disappeared. I leave messages in my inbox that I need to get back to later. I've checked my settings, as far as I know how to and searched all my folders but I can't find any of them. Archive and deleted items folders are empty. The trash folder contains the emails I have intentionally deleted but not those from my inbox from the previous day. I need help finding where they are going and how to set up my inbox so they are left there until I delete them? I've searched the knowledge base and the help search but can't find anything specific to this problem.

With "print on both sides" checked, the "backside" of each page is printed inverted top to bottom. I believe this began after the latest update. I'd like to revert to the old, more conventional, and (for me, at least) easier-to-use older system.

Downloaded latest Thunderbird. Did backup on all my company emails before.

Want to import them again to the new Thunderbird, but it does not work as I can not download the extension ImportExportTools NG as it does not work with the latest version Thunderbird. Have tried via about: config to change to true. But it is not possible to download from the Tools menu anyway

When I type a letter the sentence always stays within the screen but tonight without warning I can write until the sentence disappears across the screen. I have tried various methods (zoom and also paragraph) but nothing is permanent. I would be grateful for any assistance anyone might render as it is most frustrating. Thank you and good night.

Jan Ps. same system (Lenovo Thinkpad X300 with Xubuntu 16.04LTS 64bit (account A) )now running Firefox 85.0.1 64bit can now print, I can't find any mentioning in release notes to how previous version 75.0 and now this one is different and why this one now can print.

It would be nice to get this solved, since other people here has had this one too and it seems to jump between versions and OS(linux an windows).

I've had a browsing issue suddenly pop up. When at MSN.com, after clicking on an articles, they're all brought up reformatted with a black header and very few graphics. I've attached an image of how almost every article appears. Any idea why this is happening? How do I return it to showing the article and pictures without this new format being applied. Thanks

Today when I clicked Okay on the popup box asking if I wanted to compress my email data, all of the emails in my Inbox disappeared - other accounts and folders were unaffected. I tried all of the recovery methods recommended by Thunderbird and nothing worked.

Any ideas? These are a lot of work emails and I really need that information back.
