In Settings the box for saving logins and passwords is checked. Still the program refuses to save my passwords.

What can I do? Are other settings disabling the save passwords feature?

This happens even when I set my homepage to something different.

Firefox has updated its browser. I am currently working on the updated ESR channel (I need to use Java) version 60.2. Now when I want to bookmark a page and click on the blue star I cannot see my entire list of folders in order to sort the page into the right place. I know they are still there because I can see them when I click "Bookmarks" at the top of the page but the functionality isn't there. I searched for an answer but nothing seems to fit my situation. Nothing seems to be helping to restore the screenshot option, because I have tried all the suggestions except refreshing Firefox, which I really don't want to do having read comments saying that this lost files and caused problems. I really need the screenshot option. I've looked under extensions.screenshots.disabled and it is set to "false". I restarted Firefox. The screenshot extension is listed in the Help>Troubleshooting Information. So now what do I do? I don't understand why it vanished in the first place. I am NOT good with computers.

For many versions of Firefox my Youtube video result thumbs won't load any images. However I can play videos when selected/linked to. I've tried everything.

In version 75 when I click in the address bar, a list of my most common sites appears, but at the TOP of this list are search with google and also amazon.co.uk. These are options I do not want to see, just "my" web sites. How can I remove these two items from the drop down list? Thanks.

Avast wanted to removed an Addon it didn't like so I allowed it to get rid of it. But Avast Destroyed My Previous Session! How Do I Get it Back? I clicked on 'Restore All Windows' but all I got was a bunch of new windows and on only one Window of about 8 that are now lost or gone. Months to build... now if I can't restore these, it will take weeks or a month or more to build back what I had!

My personal copy of Firefox and I am the administrator of my system. I suddenly can't make changes to options and my right click copy/search capabilities are not available

After creating an account at hy-vee.com, and upon first logging in, Password Manager (PM) prompted to save my login info, which it did successfully, and I can see it listed in PM. However, whenever I return to the site, PM doesn't populate the login fields, and I have to enter the user/pswd info manually. Thanks for any help.

My Addons are working okay, however when I look at the about:addons page the list only shows blank spaces where addons should be, only a blue highlight shows if I click on each addon.

This is the same for my Plugins and Themes.

I have tried deleting some files in my profile as suggested by others on here with similar problems but none work.

On most sites, I can right click an image and choose "Save image as..."

Today I wanted to download an image from Facebook. I right-clicked on the image and "Save image as..." was not there.

Using FF52 because I don't want to lose SPECIFIC functionality I still have with that version. That functionality trumps all other considerations. Period.

In 52, I can open my bookmarks in a separate window ... that way it doesn't conflict with browser real estate AT ALL. Its behind browser window or on top as needed with a 'focus' click.

BUT ..... even if that is possible with Quantum ...

In that window, I want ALL bookmarks ... not just their folders ... to be visible, if needed. More specifically ....

...  I want to be able to open ANY two or more folders at one time (and keep them open) ... which is how I normally have this.        All in One Sidebar enabled this in FF52.       I do not want last folder closed when I open new one.     And I don't want to view bookmarks in a right hand side half of window.     (This is how FF was before 4.0, how it was enabled with AIOS by FF 29, etc.)

With 68.0, I see that in order to manually sync, I now have to hit the three-bar menu button at upper right, THEN select my account, THEN do Sync Now. The second step used to not be required. Minor inconvenience. Why was this done?

Also, to what extent is sync automatic? How do I set it up to be automatic. If it is automatic, when exactly is it done? Is it done continuously, or just when I exit FF?

Hi. I'm trying to log on to a particular company's website and keep getting the message :

"The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator. Your support ID is: 11373612934950299921" (with a different number each time)

I've cleared my histories, cache and cookies. My Firefox updates itself.

Going to other sites is fine.

I've spoken to the company, they don't know what's happened and are not having this problem themselves or with any other customers.

Which administrator might it be referring to? Can anyone help? (I'm not sure whether to click on 'Share Data' below; let me know if this would be helpful.) Many thanks.

What is this file "C:\windows\system32\a_kerflzjl.dll"? On both versions the same issue! Windows 7 (x32) - on x64 everything OK
