I am getting the following error message when using Firefox. The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem. I cannot see my bookmarks or add new ones. I followed the directions in articles about this problem and they did not. help. I decided to uninstall Firefox and l re-installed it from scratch and i still get the same error message.

Thunderbird refuses colored text on new Lenovo 17" Idealpad and adds asterisks not written by the author. Example message test: bbbbbbbbbbbbsssssssss ggggggggggggg***234*5678,56 *<==============* The written numbers and the arrow were colored red. No asterisks were written in the message sent. When writing, colors appeared correctly in messages with no asterisks on screen. However, no colors appear and asterisks are added in recorded messages sent and received on the PC. The Lenovo PC works OK in general, so it must be a Thunderbird configuration/function problem on my PC as the message is correctly received with colors without asterisks on my mobile phone. I have lost my tabs after the recent update. They used to show all tab groups in toolbar icon as mentioned here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups) in manage tabs section. Only the groups that were open are retained, the groups which were closed are lost. They contained important tabs which I haven't bookmarked. I didn't see any policy of removal of inactive tab groups after certain time, any help would be really appreciated. I use the desktop app on Linux.

This is a brand new problem, for me. It just started today when using FireFox. On nearly all websites, including Mozilla support, when I click on an embedded link on a site, firefox asks me to select an app to open the https. Even if I tell it to let firefox open all https, it still asks me everytime. to make it better, it still doesn't always let me open the link and I go through the same thing when I click the link again.

This also happens when clicking on the search box in *any* search engine, e.g. Google, Startpage

I've attempted to change all cookie & tracking settings, no help. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

This is making FireFox useless.

I had to use my default browser, Brave, just to submit this question. I only use FireFox for social media accounts, sites I need to link to my sm accounts and the occasional web search. For example, linking my Etsy shop to facebook. When I clicked the link "link to facebook" is when I noticed this problem.

I have installed Thunderbird with Zorin 18 and it won't show contacts. Google says that Thunderbird has full access to contacts. Attempt to manually add contacts fails with message of "Can't connect to server". I did have to manually add the calendar to make that part work. Is this an uninstall and reinstall (Thunderbird that is) situation?

The last 2 days i have had problems signing into my Aliexpress account. The site has told me it is temporarily unavailable, then that the server is taking too long and now that parental controls have been used.

I am 68. I don't need or use my computer for sites that require parental control.

I am aware that Firefox may not have a server in India,as per our laws.

I can't find a place to manage my payment methods. The only place I found that was when I check out and fill in my information in a store website.

The browser suggests my card and under that it says "Manage payment methods".

When I click that it opens "about:preferences#privacy-form-autofill" and then quickly becomes "about:preferences#privacy".

Please help thanks

No FireFox icon on desktop. How do I access the search engine? I DO have the icon for Adobe Acrobat, which I got for FREE at Firefox. When clicked on only gives Adobe site.
