Hi all.. I find that other apps regularly prompt me to "unlock Firefox" when I get to a point in them that requires keyboard input. I attach a screenshot of the problem, one in Bluemail and one in MS Excel. I am unable to remove the prompt - by a long press or short - until I type some characters, often a number of characters. Then the prompt disappears. The keyboard is SwiftKey, and I have asked them but they say it's not them. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance. P

Firefox is installed on my desktop and on my cell. How can I get my cell to show all bookmarks that I have on my desktop? I already synced a few times but no change!

On my Lenovo Tab 11 Android tablet Android version 11. I was having problems with Firefox stalling and freezing up when opening a single web page (any web page) I uninstalled Firefox and went to the Playstore to reinstall. Android Playstore on Tab 11 no longer lists any Mozilla web browser as available? So I used another tablet with FFox and emailed playstore link. On Tab 11 Playstore will not let me install it on Lenovo Tab 11. Is there an incompatibility or is Android blocking Firefox?

Hi all, There is a bug regarding the "Manage Bookmarks" in Firefox (Android - version 133.0.3).

Despite being sorted accordingly on PC and synchronized, the mobile version of Firefox for bookmarks are scrambled (see attached image).

On mobile Firefox, it looked like it was sorted according to the "recently added" bookmarks.

To add on for more details, expected results according to the PC version of "Bookmarks Manager", it should have been displayed this way on Android Firefox:

• Desktop Bookmarks
• Folder
• Link 1
• Link 2
• Link 3
• Link 4
• Link 5
• Webtoon
• Twitter

And so on.

Firefox Android on an older Sony Xperia Android Tab (2016) still receiving Firefox updates, would you believe it, cannot access about:config page -- and yes it's about:config I'm attempting to access. Firefox adress bar icon displays site warning and freezes the page load whatever setting i try in Firefox settings.

No antimalware or such nonsense used on the device, just as fake in protecting my privacy as (foreign) gov.-sponsored whitelabel antimalware and privacy search engines -- remembering the recent Bing API-blackout that displayed a Bing search engine error message in all of the so called's etc etc

I'm not logged in on the device, as in not syncing an access all home living room device in any way. I don't need a breadcrum trail of other users leading to my accounts.

So what am I after? I don't want a stored cache of recently visited pages that apparently hog the limited memory and I want to limit the amount of 'recently visited pages'-cache stored in Firefox on Android. I want Firefox to be *pristine (beyond the moniker settings available as 'clear all' at Firefox close) each time a user picks up the tab. So, there's one or two settings under about:config limiting the recently visited pages cache to the latest visited only after closing Firefox -- lowest setting available (?) is 0, but hey, that's life.

I'm trying to add Google chrome or any other search engine in as an additional one. So to add a new search engine you have to title it and then add in its address. I cannot figure out how to write this out correctly. Could someone please help. Thank you kindly.

The new menu doesn't contain at least two very requently used actions:

- reload the page - go forward

There is no way to disable the new menu and revert the old behavior.

Hi, I dont understand the new improvements since the default tab is no longer private and i cannot follow the google tips, as I miss thr history options. My version is

Please fix this! I specifically set it in the settings (on Android) so that no websites open in apps. And yet it keeps asking me whether to open them! There’s no option to "don’t ask again".

Here’s an example: I have two accounts on AliExpress — one is logged into the app, the other in the web browser! And I absolutely don’t want it to open in the app, because what for???

Please fix it so that when I have it set in the settings not to open in the app, it really doesn’t open — and doesn’t keep asking like an idiot!?

I noticed on both Android 15 and 16 that the FF app shows 'Ask Bing' (see attachment) when you invoke the copy/select all/search etc. popup. .

I have not found a way to remove this. Any ideas?

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. Prior to the 6/16/25 release, hitting the back button on the three button control on a page with no previous pages would open the home page without closing the current tab. After the update, it closes the tab before opening the home page. This was useful for quickly opening multiple tabs, as well as preventing accidentaly closing a tab. Please revert this change, or make it a setting.

I've just installed Firefox for Android (v.66.0.5) from Google Play Store onto my Samsung Galaxy S10e (running Android 9). Installed OK and browser works fine, but results will not scroll vertically or horizontally. No similar problem with other apps. Is there a bug or am I missing something ?
