After the latest update, I no longer get a scroll bar appearing (on the right-hand side) of the message pane. How do I get it back? And yes, I have many, many more messages in my inbox than there is room to display in a single pane. Thanks,

H&HNY2U&2U I'll appreciate your help! Please clarify if the alert containing a Firefox logo (pictured in the upper right corner of the image I attached), which flashed repeatedly while viewing the Apple page, is actually from Firefox or is a fake. thanks, HJK

UPDATE - - problem solved - - Using Firefox Troubleshooting Mode I found that the problem was ''''caused by an added extension '''' which has been turned off (I hope) One thing I don't understand though is that I fixed this in Firefox but it also fixed it in Chrome. All images show up in both, so how does one browser fix a second browser? I have yet to check Safari but I never use that one anyway, so I'm not going to push my luck! Thanks Terry.

- - - I have a LOT (hundreds) of images that do not show up on many pages and each one is labeled,

403 Forbidden in the Network Monitor.

There are images that do show up on the same pages and the amount varies.

Those are labeled with a green 200.

What causes this and how can I fix it so they all show on the pages?

and do I have to fix each and every one? That would take months.

Firefox crashes whenever I use ctrl v or right click, and pulls up a window that it crashed. Whenever I start it back up, it says it wasn't able to restore session, then restores it anyway after I press to restore it. Another thing is whenever I try and upload a file onto a site it crashes as well. I'm on Mac OS x 13 and reinstalling firefox hasn't fixed it. This is relatively sudden, it happened about around 3 days ago for the first time, and at the same time I noticed it happening certain sites also started giving me '502 Bad Gateway' errors. Does anyone know what's happening and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I'm running FF 115.8.0esr on MacOS High SIerra 10.13.6. (desktop). I generally sleep the computer rather than shutting down each day.

The problem - If I have restarted the computer or restarted FF, I can play video and audio OK. Mostly I will find that I can still play for a day or so (even having slept the computer). Then they stop. Opening a new window or a private window doesn't help, the only solution is to restart FF or the computer. All the while, I can get the same video/audio to play on Safari, and Apple iTunes is fine too. It doesn't matter what the source is - YT, Spotify BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds and so on.

Would really like some help on this!

Until a few months ago I had a small icon on the right-hand end of the toolbar [the one with the URL in it] - After I downloaded a pdf to a file in Finder I could click on that icon & it took me straight to the downloaded pdf file in Finder. It was very convenient. It avoided having to go to Finder & find the recently downloaded pdf file myself so I could open it and read it. I don't know if it was an add-on or some other type of link: I just had the icon in the toolbar. Does anyone know what it was & where [or how] I can get it again?

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

HI, I'm trying to move the text to below the picture as in the screenshot of the popup (black back ground) on the non-popup pages because the mobile is not in popup, and the text is blocking the artwork as well. Is there a section to move the text outside of the picture? Thank you!

I've been noticing that when I click History > Clear Recent history, after clicking and going back to History, it hasn't removed everything. I have Firefox on my Android phone which is set to clear history upon close. For for unknown reasons, its leaving sites from both desktop and phone apps after clearing.

I'm running Firefox v 115.9.1esr on my Mac.

Any ideas?

Szukałam takiego czegoś w ustawieniach i firefox support, ale nie znalazłam nic co by pomogło w wyłączeniu blokady reklam. Czy mógłby mi ktoś pomóc i pokierować jak mogłabym wyłączyć blokadę reklam? For the past few months every restart of Firefox disables LastPass. I did NOT have this problem previously. The version of LastPass is current (no updates found). I can go to Add-ons and the toggle is set to "on" but the icon in the menu bar is black. If I click the toggle off, then back on, LastPass comes on just fine. Why is Firefox disabling something that Add-ons says is loaded? VERY strange. Does NOT happen in Chrome. Thanks for any assistance. PITB!!!

I've got a really old MacBook Pro that's still running 10.13, and Firefox has started displaying a nag screen telling me that this version is no longer supported, and to install a newer version of MacOS.

Is there something in the advanced settings that will stop it nagging me? I now know it's not going to get any more updates, there's no need to keep telling me every 20 minutes...

(Note to the devs: a "don't remind me again" checkbox would be nice for things like this!)

Am I correct that the toolbar icon " - | 100% | + " is the Firefox Zoom function? I have never been able to locate a toolbar icon for NoSquint Plus. I also have Theme & Font Size Changer, but it stopped working years ago. Anyway, working fine for many years, automatically setting the zoom on every tab to 150% so I can read it easily.

A few days ago I got into the NoSquint Plus preferences (NEVER OPEN THE HOOD !!!) , and wondered why it was set to chrome API instead of CSS API and changed it to see. That kind of broke it completely. Maybe changed other stuff trying to get it back...

At present, Firefox Default Zoom is set to 150% . NoSquint Plus is default full page 100% and default text only 150% There are no instructions telling me how these 3 settings will interact.

It seems that when I open NoSquint Plus Preferences and change the %, it works on all the tabs on that page, but not on any other page unless I open it & fiddle with it.

How do I get what I want? There is no "return to default settings" for NoSquint Plus.
