I ALWAYS use FF in incognito mode. I do not ever switch to non incognito. However, after closing FF (iphone14 pro max, all fully updated) for a couple of hours, when I open, it’s magically back on NONincognito mode.

Also, when in incognito mode, FF still keeps cookies after I have deleted them and cleared caches.

I was going to switch from Chrome to Firefox on my iphone, but FF is telling me I need to set up Touch ID/passcode to use the saved passwords feature. I don't want to do this and don't see a way around it. Is there any option to decline this? If not, I guess I'll be stuck with Chrome for now! Couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. Would love some help.

My Firefox on my iPad alsways crashes when I try to select a synched tabs from another Firefox on a different device. The tabs from the other devices show up and the sync is always up to date, but the windows does not react on any interaction, instead the Browser crashes after about 1 minute of inresponsiveness and returns to the home screen of my iPad. I already discenneted and reconnected the Firefox account used for sync on this browser, it did not help. I use the same Firefox version on my iPhone and that does not have this issues, selecting tabs from other devices works as intended.

Firefox version: 114.3 (31916) iPad OS: 16.5.1 (did not work in iPadOS 16.5. either)

all of my tabs (normal and private) keep closing. they aren't in inactive tabs or synced tabs. i've made sure the app is up to date, i deleted and reinstalled, cleared my cached and nothing has solved this issue.

Was the ability to have a blank homepage removed? It’s either your homepage or I have to set a page? This doesn’t make sense to me. Is there a legit reason I just can’t have a blank page?

Please help me return to Firefox. I miss it. :(

I’ve had to switch to Chrome because I can’t seem to get Firefox for iOS to auto fill the passwords I have saved when trying to log on to every website that required a username or password. I’m not talking about the passwords saved to my iCloud Keychain. I’m talking about the ones specifically saved to my Firefox account.

The passwords auto fill on the desktop Firefox just fine (both Windows and MacOS), but for some reason the Firefox for iOS app doesn’t auto fill the passwords.

Both Save Logins and Show in Application Menu are toggled on, so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

If someone can help me fix this, I will gladly return to Firefox! Thanks so much.

I don't know what happened but after years of loving firefox and using it every day I am now deleting it. I don't want Yahoo as my search engine. It doesn't work as well as google and I can't figure out how to get goggle back. So I'm going back to Safari. As much as I don't like it at least it lets me set google as my search and home page. And I have contributed in the past. Not a lot but I have contributed money.

For school, I use duo as a two-step authenticator. I get this message when I select the option to remember this device: “You need to enable cookies in order to remember this device”. I already tried to disable the tracking protection for the website. I don't see any options that allow me to enable cookies. I use an iPhone 12. Firefox and my iPhone are up to date. Hello. After updating my iPhone 11 Pro to iOS 15.1, it suddenly became impossible to delete apple.com cookies from the Firefox browser. I've tried clearing all private and website data in the Firefox iOS app. But apple.com's cookie immediately reappears... even before I actually use Firefox to do anything on the web. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any idea how to get rid of apple.com's persistent cookies in Firefox for iOS (without blocking all cookies)?

Whenever the firefox app is opened (opened after crashing, after i swipe up to close it or sometimes randomly) it keeps opening a new tab every single time even though i still have a tab open and was on it previously.

How do i stop this because it’s seriously getting on my last nerve?
