I am writing to propose an enhancement for your iOS and Android, as well as desktop applications, that would greatly benefit users with visual impairments. It would also benefit anyone who is aware that they are in need of supplementary assistance in the absorption of information and knowledge, such as myself (for context; I am an adult with autism and ADHD). Specifically, I suggest adding an accessibility feature that provides verbal dictation of the text on the phone. This addition would significantly improve the experience for users with limited or no sight or potentially even other types of disabilities.

As a friendly neighborhood computer consultant, I recommend Firefox as the default browser to my friends and family because of its strong commitment to privacy. Additionally, a partnership with DuckDuckGo could further underscore your dedication to user privacy.

I appreciate your consideration of these suggestions and look forward to seeing your continued innovation and reaction to my notes. Enhancing accessibility features not only supports inclusivity but could also attract new users and potentially open up advertising opportunities. I wanted to disable the prefetching/preloaad pages and I found some entries on about:config that I had to change. Some of those are here on the official support site and some not, I found them on another forum.

Here's the list: network.prefetch-next (false)

network.dns.disablePrefetch (false)

network.dns.disablePrefetch.FromHTTPS (false)

network.http.speculative-parallel-limit (0)

browser.urlbar.speculativeConnect.enabled (false)

So, my questions are: 1. All these expect one "browser.urlbar.speculativeConnect.enabled" are available on android (nightly). Is there and i can't find it or it's indeed not available ??

2. Is the "network.http.speculative-parallel-limit" works only for http or it works and for https as well ?? Is there some setting to geti it to work for https if it doesn't ??

3. Is true that the "network.dns.disablePrefetch" and/or "network.dns.disablePrefetch.FromHTTPS" doesn't work (if i disable it) if i have turned on the dns over https ??

4. Are there other settings that I need to configurate or I'm good with these ??

Ok, so first everyone needs to know I love Firefox, I have never donated a cent to Firefox. I think I have burned by FIREFOX MOZILLA HOW? I am not sure, because I am not an expert as all of you, but: I uninstalled Firefox because my iPad kept freezing and does not move on my iPad and all my four phones. While reinstalling Firefox, I see that one of their products called Monitor said my accounts have been compromised about 700+ instances. Then I proceed to find out how my accounts and private data was compromised? Well when I saw the list, you can imagine how long IT IS??? well, I was given a choice do it by paying $8+ a month/yearly and or manual; so what is the question how my addresses got compromised if I only use Firefox, Isn’t Firefox the self appointed SUPER GREAT BROWSER AND ADVOCATE FOR SECURITY AND INTERNET USER RIGHTS AND SO ON? Well again I am not an expert, but what I’m am so FXXXXXG burning stupidity it is that when I attempted to use the service, the FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS OF SECURITY your FUL NAME, YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, YOUR CITY AND STATE. Well, I am sorry today I lost flight on this browser, back to Safari, I guess. LIKE AN STUPID IDIOT I GAVE MY FULL NAME, MY DATE OF BIRTH, MY CITY, MY STATE TO FIREFOX/MOZILLA. NOW FIREFOX MOZILLA HAS ME BY MY BAXXS AND I FELT FOR IT. I have 8000 bookmarks! =there's no way to scroll down by holding an arrow key on bottom right corner alike Firefox desktop on my mac, bc there s no key present at all...I see a small site marker tab which moves to show place, but.guess how many times I'd have to swipe down the middle of the screen to get the bottom of bookmarks!!?

  Its about 500 finger scrolls!  Isn't there a app or tweak to ma!me all bookmarks roll top to bottom, w.ok having to hand every page from the top?!

Sorry this is not a question but I can't find a email for Mozilla mobile for android we need a way to make it harder to accidently close a tab and also an option is setting to bringing back said closed tab with a longer time not 3seconds so who ever gets this please send it to a Mozilla worker.

I read the strings of comments regarding about:config not working and presenting a blank page. I have the same issue. I have been a Firefox user for decades, preferring Firefox over all other browsers. However, without the ability to customize Firefox we, the loyal, may be forced to use another browser. Also, no customization is only contribution to other browser's owners/developers efforts to eliminate Firefox. Is there a solution to fixing current version or Firefox, about:config in development or already available?

Hi, I am using an Android phone with a 6.4" screen. I find it difficult to type in the search bar when it is at the top. Can I bring my search bar to the middle of the mobile screen?

I am trying to add ITA Matrix power tool extension. When I click on link I land on page that says ‘you need to install Firefox to use this extension’. Firefox is already installed. How to I activate the extension in Firefox? Thanks Philip

I can't find a way to move the navigation buttons from the bottom of the screen, where they shouldn't be, to the top of the screen. Tab selection should go back to the top, too. Am I just missing something? Can I do something in about:config?

Imagine always having access to navigation buttons at the top of the screen. You even downloaded an app that put system UI buttons at the top of the screen, too! It agrees with your rapidly aging joints because it's easier to have your hands closer to their default orientation.

Look at your hand right now. What orientation is it in? Did you look at the side of your pointer finger and your thumb? No. You likely looked at your palm. Furthermore, many blind people who use phones will type with accessibility features that often result in their hands being in the default orientation. The screens will be facing away and they'll use 6 or 8 fingers on the touchscreen to type.

Having navigation buttons at the top of the screen can be more accessible to some people because it is more compatible with the default orientation of the human hand. (Also disappointed that I can no longer put Gboard most of the way up the screen. But that's a problem that won't get fixed because Google is too big to have useful support and dev teams)

Hello everyone, I don't know where it comes from (my screen or moz update), but I have a problem I didn't have before. When I open the tabs menu, the option to close a tab by sliding it laterally is way too sensitive. When I slide vertically to navigate, I very often close one of my tabs. Very annoying. I checked in the parameters if there was an option to deactivate that (Especially that there are crosses on each tabs to close them. The lateral sliding is pretty useless). Is there an option in about/config to deactivate that parameter please ? Thanks in advance.

First Of All, Thank you for such a wonderful Browser. I have been using Firefox Mobile for a while now. Everything is perfect for my needs. Except for one thing.

Less Number Of Search Suggestions.

Firefox Mobile shows less number of search suggestions. So, I tried to check in Firefox Focus. I used Google as my Only Search Engine in both Firefox Mobile and Firefox Focus. I have enabled every search suggestions settings in both. While searching for anything in search bar, Firefox Mobile shows only 3 suggestions for my search whereas Firefox Focus shows 10 suggestions. Even Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly shows 3 Suggestions. This is stopping me from using Firefox Mobile. I can't switch to Firefox Focus as there is no support for Extensions.

If it's a mistake from my side, Please, Suggest Me, what do I need to do to get Firefox Focus like Search Suggestions in Firefox Mobile.

If it's an issue in Firefox Mobile, Please, Fix it as soon as possible.

I want Firefox Focus like Search Suggestions on Firefox Mobile. I wish to Donate to Firefox Mobile and continue my journey with it. Please, Help Me With This.

Is this Support Forum Dead or what ? It's been almost a Week since I asked a Question. Forget Solution, Atleast, A Reply would have been something.

If stated my issue in Play Store reviews, it says to ask my question in this Support Forum.

I loved everything in Firefox Mobile except for this above stated issue. I had plans to even Donate to Firefox if this issue had been resolved. It's not even a big issue, just apply a fix from Firefox Focus to Firefox Mobile. Is it too much to ask ?

I know your volunteers are Mozilla users just like me, who take the time out of their day to help. But, still, No Reply for a Week ?

Okay. I think doing anything or waiting for replies and helps any further is waste of time. This might be the reason Chrome is still way better.
